I grew up with this music and Seal does an excellant job with it. I'm so impressed with this album I want a two CD set...maybe someone can convince him to continue with more Motowne

After seeing Seal on The Oprah Show during which he performed a single from this CD, I enjoyed it so much I decided to order the CD. I received it yesterday and was not disappointed. I have throughly enjoyed this wonderful CD. It has brought memories of hearing some of these songs years ago, but the best part is the individuality that SEAL brings to the performances. I would highly recommend this CD to anyone!!

I absoulutely love this CD. Seal is soul awesome, his voice is so crisp and clear and you can hear is emotions whenever he sings any song. I've loved him since he's come out and all of his music is a delight to listen too. This particular cd is alot more personal that he's done. I hope to hear much much more music from our lovely seal. Check this cd out. You wont be dissapointed!!!

there remix of the oldies out there, but none sound as good as these by seal. Somewhat close to the original, but with a more modern upbeat to the music, he has a unique voice, you have to just listen to it, i think he great

The music on the CD is more than expected! One of Seal's best! All of the songs are from well known performers and he done a fabulous job in re-creating the mood and sentiments of each.

I absolutely love this CD! It is almost in a blues category at times, but definitely full of soul. I wold recommend it to anyone looking to try something different. That was my main reason for buying it after listening to a few earlier tunes of Seals.

I purchased this CD after hearing Seal's incredible voice, lyrics, and music. Five more of my friends purchased it after hearing my CD. What an amazing and talented singer. Each song breathes his soul and heart.

I bought this for my father after hearing some of the album on YouTube. I could not believe how awesome Seal sounded singing soul songs!

In this Soul/Motown covers CD seal is at his peak, and the arrangements are all top-notch. Produced by David Foster, it contains 12 tracks..only 44:30 in length. For a contemporary CD, IMO that is far too short. The tracks are all great, Knock ON Wood, A Changee is Gonna Come, It's a Man's World, Stand by Me, etc. However, what's not included..is just as important as what is on the CD. Missing are-When a Man Loves a Woman-Percy Sledge, Soul Man/Hold On I'm Comin'-Sam and Dave, Rainy Night in Georgia-Brook Benton, Sittin' on the Dock of The Bay-Otis Redding.
In other words,that is "Soul Music" to me-at least 3 more tracks S/H been included here-if you can get a "deal" on it, pick it up.

I grew up in the 60's and love soul music. This is reminiscent of the old time soul singers with a little bit of a new twist. Seal is the best.

I enjoy this R&B CD.....it has a nice range of songs. I only wish there were more songs to listen to.

This seller should be put in jail. Evnthough, this was only a $10.00 item, I was still ripped off. He ( or she ) never responded to my inquories as to where my product was. He did get paid & never sent my C.D.

I absolutely loved the CD I purchased it for Seal's rendition of Sam Cook's song, Change Gonna Come, however most of the material although not of my genre were familiar to me besides the fact if you have an appreciation for Seal's stylistic vocals then you will have an appreciation for the selection of songs and how excetionally well the artist made the song his own.

Loved the songs and the artist. Loved it was brand new, still sealed and less expensive than taking the time to drive to a store to purchase.

so far everything has gone the way it was suppose to. i have purchased several diferant items with excellent results.

This is one of the best CD's I have ever had. I saw the performance on PBS, and decided to purchase the CD. The music is timeless.

I love soul! Excellent artist! Excellent cd! I have a couple other of Seal's
releases and have always enjoyed his work. I find it very peaceful and stress-
easing to listen to this cd.

I bought this at the request of my wife - and she loves it. These are really good covers of some 60's & 70's R&B and soul hits.
