Michael Scott keeps you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end of each book. The Sorceress is another fine story.
What is so wonderful about Scott's books: The Alchymst, The Magician & The Sorceress, is they introduce the reader to many of the ancient creatures of myth from around the world, and also to some famous historical figures. Each person or creature is woven well into the tale but offers the child (or adult) an expanded view of history and myth.
The series is engaging and fun. Well written, I highly recommend it to any lover of fantasy.
