Sony Watchman FDL-PT22 2.2 in. Handheld TV

This TV kept me on the grid when the grid went down in 2004 (Hurricanes Charley, Frances, and Jeanne). I hung it by the straptenna from a coat hanger in my hurricane shelter (a.k.a. closet) and got good reception during and after the hurricanes.

It is a good TV for sporting events, picnics, power outages, etc. It gets good reception and is easy to use.

The item was not in working condition has the seller describe. It was a waste of my hard earned money and time. I will nbuy from the seller again.

I use this to see the headlines at my breakfast table. and works fine. The only inconvenient is the fact that it doesn`t have a stand so you have to keep in your hands if tou want to see the screen clearly, otherwise i put it tilted against any heavy object and watch.

A must have. Radio is OK. But without, computers, cable TV, and or no electric power, sound alone is just not enough. A TV is the only way to get that picture's one thousand words. When you just need to stay informed. An inexpensive way to reach the news.

I bought the individual tv three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive tv. It has a lcd color screen, . The sony tv size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

I BOUGHT A Sony Watchman FDL-PT22 2.2 in. Handheld Television,Because i could carry up when i was working . im a reporter of a radio station and ride a motorcycle . with this tv i could see the news in other channels. it`s small and the imagen is ok .

This little TV is awesome I have had one for a few years and it has been awesome to use on the go. Digital Auto tuning lets you hit the up switch and it automatically goes to the next available channel. I would like to not have the gangly antenna and would have opted for an extendable mast antenna but I think close to the end of the watchman craze they were trying to get flashy to keep things alive. All in all a good toy till the High def thing happens in a year. Then it will be Bantha Pudu.

reat portable TV for the price. But sure not the best, still has problem with the signals when moving around which is not very handy.

I was looking for a Personal TV to use when I was away from Electricity to watch College Football games. My Son has one and it works beautiful for this usage. When I bought this "Used" Sony Watchman it was advertised as having a "Great Picture" "In Good Condition" and "Comes with a Charger". I received and could not get a picture at all. I do live several miles from the TV station and didn't expect a perfect picture but I had no picture. In comparing to my Son's hand-held unit I did expect to receive something. The suggestion of plugging in an external antenna was not acceptable since this would defeat the purpose I had in mind. I feel that the unit, if it was new would have operated OK but that this used one had just been used up. Since I was told that "Poor reception is not a valid reason for a refund" I am setting with a Used TV that is of no value to me. Buyer Beware on buying used TV's.

the item was packaged well. the tv works very well. i bought it because a friend had one. the tv is small enough to carry with me anywhere.i am glad to have it.
