Sony VPL-HS51 LCD Projector

I bought this "light" projector for a great price. The picture is simply amazing, although I did have to alter the room in which it is in order to avoid white out image from light (as is the case in most projectors). The contrast ratio is great and the lumens are quite high especially for an LCD projector. I highly recommend this projector to anyone that is looking for a home theater setup. To give you a rough idea of how big the picture is I have a room that is 14' wide 10' tall and 18' in length. I have the image on the back wall projecting from one 14' wall to the other (throw distance is 18' then) and the image I get can be up to 130" if I zoom out all the way. I have it zoomed in some though to fit in a 115" screen I purchased (also from ebay at a steal) and it is a great quality picture. The only thing I can possibly complain about is that it did not come with a manual (you can lookup stuff online at sony.com though), no remote, and I am having problems getting the resolution to 1080p. It only projects in 1080i and although it is a small difference it is noticeable on a screen that large. Overall I still say it is a great projector that is fairly quiet while running and has all the right inputs that I needed (HDMI, Component, composite, VGA/PC, network, usb).
