The separated antenna and router unit offers the ability to extend and position the antenna for optimal wireless signals. The AR300 is backwards compatible with all 802.11b wireless devices and supports high speed transfer rates of up to 54Mbps, almost five times faster than the widely deployed 802.11b (11Mbps) devices found in homes, businesses, and public hot spots.
