Sony Ss-f7000 Main / Stereo Speaker

This are high quality electronics, if you love the bass, maybe you need a subwoofer because the speakers subs are not very powerful, but exept for that this speakers are incredible!!!!

Can't beat these speakers in price. I got way more than what I was expecting. My only conplaint is that they are not really 8" speakers they are 6". At least mine were. Packaging said 8" but my measuring tape din't. I even thought about returning them because of this but once I hooked them up and turned up the volume I decided to keep them.

I have been doing acoustic engineering work for the last 25+ years, and I have tested various audio equipment and speakers for home and professional environments. I have configured systems ranging from $500 to $50,000 and I was pleasantly surprised when I purchased the Sony SS-F7000 speakers to upgrade my home speaker system. The speakers arrived in a few days and they looked great. However, looks can be deceiving, so let’s give it a try. I connected them to my Harman Kardon AVR 430 system and its accompanying surround sound speakers. I was speechless. It sounded great and the resolution of high and low notes from my CD collations was increasable.
I was so impressed with the Sony SS-F7000 speaker performance that I ordered 4 more for my new project at work (I am setting up a high performance audio listening room for developments of surround sound 5.1 & 7.1 DSP algorithms in my company).

Bought these because they look good and are inexpensive. I am very pleased with them. They need a sub to accompany them but are just fine for my needs. I would recommend these for anyone who is not in some kind of professional music environment.

I bought the Sony Ss-f7000 Main / Stereo Speaker, for system a few weeks back. They are what they were advertised to be. These ares ome awesome speakers, and they go great with my Sony system. I would recomend these speakers to anyone.

You would have to spend a lot more to get a better pair of floor speakers. I'm using them as the fronts on my system with a Yamaha RX-V465 receiver. Deep lows with decent mids and highs. If you're on a budget you can't go wrong with these, but make sure you use at least 14 guage speaker wire.

These speakers sre some of the best i've ever owned. My friend has infinty speakers thate he paid about $400 dollars each and mine and his sound exactly the same. They are pleasing to the eye but the only thing i dislike is the mesh cover but i took it off and it looks great. I highly reccomend these speakers.

The speakers came in ups in perfect condition. the look is great. The sound impresed me right away. I used to have 4 12" klh floor speakers but i felt like they were not very astetically pleasing. I bought the sony towers expecting somewhat less bass because they are only 2 8"s. wrong. theese things sound amazing for what they are. I cant believe you can get them for 230ish dollars. I have sony everything now and everything looks and sounds great.

The speakers sound great. The speakers are very heavy and constructed well. They were shipped quickly and were packed in a great box that really protected them during shipment.
The only drawback was that the front mesh cover was a little cheaper looking than I had expected, but this is how the manufacturer made them...nothing to do with the seller.
Overall, I would recommend the purchase.

Wanted good speakers on a tight budget. Set them up and they sounded OK. Then got good, 12 AWG Oxygen-free interconnects with banana plugs and used a "proper" coax between Blu-ray player and amp and Voila! Much better sounding speakers. Was also pleased that the 11 1/2" width quoted only referred to the bottom of the speakers with the feet on. The towers themselves are 9 1/2" wide.
Hard to compare to previous Pinnacle Classic Gold Towers because the Sonys are several feet closer together due to room restrictions. Bass is not the 27 Hz quoted on the Pinnacles, but adequate (35 Hz) for the many kinds of music I listen to. Also, the Sonys were almost half the price in today's dollars compared to the price of the Pinnacles in 2000 dollars.
All in all, a satisfying buying experience.

Best floorstanding speakers for the money and then some more. Would recommend to anyone serious about home audio. Don't be thrown by the sony badge.

I have these hooked up to an Onkyo 7.1 Home Theater System, played a few DVD's to hear the sound, played the X-BOX 360 and these speakers are well worth the purchase. These are replacing a previous set of Sony Floor Standing speakers. The sound is pristine and they blend right in with the decor. If your looking to buy, even though there are other brand names and your watching the budget, buy these every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Had a pair of 12" sony woofer before that lasted me 11 years. I really trust the brand. and Love the new SS-f7000 series.

these are very good speakers. I wish i had bought them sooner. I told my friend about them and he said he wanted a pair.

These speakers have a good sound and a great modern look, They compliment any of the newer plasma/ Led TV's. Great buy right out of the box.

Excellent quality, great match with my Onkyo home theater system. I am running a powered sub-woofer to enhance the base, which really gives the system great sound. For the price, this is great set of speakers.

My husband and I love these speakers so much that we are upgrading all of our stereos! Seller was fantastic to work with and we had our new speakers within the week of ordering them! I would highly recommend them and this seller!

I BOUGHT THESE SPEAKERS TO MATCH MY TV AND STEREO SURROUNDS.
I HAVE A 72" TV AND IT LEAVES LITTLE ROOM FOR ANY SPEAKERS.
THESE HAVE VERY GOOD SOUND AND LOOK GREAT!
FOR THE MONEY YA CAN'T GO WRONG.
