thought this was a digital recorder as annotated in the sellers write up but found it to be as noted here a "video" recorder with a vcr tape. and to top it off, the item should have reflected that it was TiVo system. I would never have purchased had I known these things. Guess the lesson learned is to send an email to verify what the item is.
