Sony STR DE875 5.1 channel 500 Watt Receiver

I find that the Sony STR DE875 5.1 Receiver was way ahead of its time. I haven't found any poor ratings the I can give to this product. I hooked mine up to a Polk 250 Sub, 4 Polk 6800 series Sattilites and a Polk Audio CSi3 Center. And let me tell ya, for home theater, or just kick butt stereo sound, this receiver can handle it all........

Plenty of optical inputs, lots of power and great audio quality make this Sony a definate winner! Incredible and sophistacated advanced settings lets you tweak the audio to fulfill any room environment. After having a 300W Aiwa system, I upgraded to Denon speakers and this Sony STR DE875 5.1 channel 500 Watt Receiver and believe you me: what a difference! Simply put, I had to go ahead and move my 40" LCD screen to the downstairs area and set up a small home theater...it's like being at the movies!

The Sony STR DE875 5.1 channel 500 Watt Receiver is a great system for any home. Unlike many other sound systems that only support audio, this system is excellent because it supports video inputs and will output only one. This is very nice because I can control everything from the receiver's remote control.

I can change from my cable/satelite to dvd or vhs to tape or cd and I dont have to touch the tv remote. The receiver will send the signal out automatically and will change the screen's video. I even setup my PC and Karaoke on it and works great! Really nice and convenient.

What I love about music and movies is that it brings me to a different world and this Sony STR DE875 5.1 receiver delivers every sound and beat that everyone would expect. It has more than enough digital inputs and also it's not as heavy as the normal receivers. I purchased mine for about 100 bucks and that was from Ebay so you know I'm loving this purchase. The Manual maybe more difficult to learn, but I guess being a great machine, it requires more literature.
