Sony SLV-D300P DVD Player / VCR Combo

This is a well made combo player unlike many combo players out there that are unreliable. The Sony brand carries a certain expectation for quality and this device lives up to that well. I do dislike the fact that you cannot record a VHS tape from the DVD, but this is to be expected especially from a company such as Sony which wants to protect it's copyrighted works. The remote control was easy enough to use and not too big. I also really liked the glowing blue progressive button, which other players don't indicate on the front, forcing one to check to see if it's on. The menu layout is very simple to understand and navigate and setting it up doesn't require a college degree. Overall one of the best DVD / VCR combos I've seen.

I was on the look for a great affordable purchase, my only option at present. Was very surprised to see it available and so very fortunate to have won it. It is in great condition, performing smoothly. I could not be more pleased.
