Sony RDR-GX360 DVD Recorder

I use this Machine at Skydive Arizona. What I do with it is Record a Video I have taken of a Skydive to a DVD. Now with a 2nd same machine there is no need to Finalize the DVD prior to viewing on a 2nd like machine. I make the DVD in my team Room then move the DVD to the Hanger to review. I have the 2nd machine in the hanger and that saves me about 8 minutes a DVD.

It was just perfect in every aspect except that it doesnt come with tunner ..........................

My biggest complaint about this machine is that it is super noisy. I thought my VCR was loud until I started using this one. Luckily I keep the recorder in an enclosed cabinet of my entertainment center so the noise is kept to a quiet roar.

We are "totally" pleased with the new recorder!!! It far exceeds our expectations!! The ultrahigh resolution and ease of programming may it a joy to have.

It was a Great buy and it was just what I wanted. I like the 1080 picture affect it puts out. I will be recommending other to this find.

I am away from home where my Panasonic recorder is. So this time I wanted to try making DVDs with this Sony recorder. For me, the overall picture quality turned out to be a little better than Panasonic with which the connection used to be DV to the HD Quality mini Cam. I had to use the conventional AV connectors, since this Sony recorder wouldn't start with DV connection to the HD images. So far I've only tried recording on DVD+ disks successfully.

It was easy to connect and when my theater system comes in I think it will be just fine. I purchased this unit because I like to record videos from my camera.

My Husband actually bought this item. I do not know much about it as we have never used it yet. The price was great and we liked the Brand Name and has all the features that are available Technology wise. We have bought many players and we are so dissapointed in their performance. Of course they have all been really cheap ones. Figured it was time to buy a good Brand Name and give it a shot. I am sure the rating will be excellent, when we finally use it.

This is a great DVD recorder. I bought it because of the price, the HDMI input and the numerous features. It does a great job.

The Sony RDR-360 Recorder is a excellent product and does everything I need it to do. It records DVD'S, Plays DVD'S and in general is a very inexpensive way to enjoy my DVD'S and record program's from my TV or other legal source's. It is simple to use and is small and compact.It fits in a small area!

This is the second sony rdr-360 dvd recorder i have had! The first one i bought used for around $55 and gave it a try. I really like the simplicity of recording and playback especially with bravia sync if you have other sony components that are compatible. The only downside i didnt like about it is that the front display just all of the sudden starting going haywire on me. It didnt affecting recording or playback you just couldnt tell what was going on during either one of those functions. I really like the way it operates with my other sony components so hopefully this one holds out.

Seriously buy something else... I bought this with LOW expectations and found out that it STILL SUCKED!!! 1040p upconvert??? no HDMI, no hook up besides RCA and S-video. It's JUNK! The $30 Dvd player I bought from Target has better features...
