Sony PSP Value Pack - Handheld game system

The Sony PSP Game Console System is still quite pricy (launch price for this system was equivalent to two PS2 console systems), although the features it offers pays off over time, I have purchased the Value Pack a while back, which came with Wayne Gretzky Hockey Game, Interactive Sample Disc and a Spiderman 2 movie, the disc format Sony used in this system are unique discs that are called Universal Media Disc (UMD), despite the load time is quite long for some games, the video quality is still unrivaled in terms of handheld game systems. The SD Memory Slot is very convenient as well, it lets you insert a memory stick so you can watch MPEG-4 movies, listen to MP3 music, read text files. Despite the current era with hackers, some people will take advantage of the products offered, and can play old school system games which includes Super Mario Bros., and much more. As well, as pirated games, which presumably loads up faster if using the Memort Stick.

A downside to the PSP, is the it is very sensitive to fingerprint marks and scratches just like a CD. And it is something that you may want to purchase extended warranty on as well, because if it falls on the ground chances are it won't turn on anymore, not only that, but it will not have nice dents and scratches as well. Also, some people should be careful about what they are uploading in the Memory Sticks, as there are still flaws in the Firmwire, from what I heard there are programs that aren't stable which may cause your system screen to never turn on again, if I recall correctly, the term used for such system is "Bricked PSP", since it serves for nothing better than a brick.

If you ever intend to use the system for homebrews, I highly suggest you look for a system with a firmwire of 2.50 or lower. Preferably the first one with version 1.5 and upgrade from there to the firmwire you wish to use.

The system control settings are easy to go through and offer many options you may like to change, from multi-languages to battery consumption (lowering brightness).

This is definitly the best of the portable gaming systyms out, but watch out for any systems that don't come with a bigger memory stick, i only have a 32 MB and it holds 20 pics, and only 6 songs, i would get like a 512MB or 1G card

the psp is the best multimedia device out there . between the many game and movie titles,downloading songs and wireless wi fi gaming it's the best.

I recieved the PSP for a gift at christmas and it's the best system i've ever recieved. The graphics are great and features are amazing. It's nice because you can charge it and take it anywhere you want without worrying about cords. The games are easy to play and understand and overeall i'd recommend it to anyone.
