Ok the very best thing about the ps2 is that it has a huge catalog of games for you to play. Not only the ps2 games but also all the games from the first playstation can be played on it as well, this is a fantastic extra. There are literally thousands of games that can be played on this system, and because a lot of them are older games or games from the old system you can get tons of game for Cheap! then there are the other extras, you can also use it as a dvd player and can even get a remote control to use it as such even easier. Also you can play regular music cd's and have an onscreen laserlight like show playing on the screen of your tv that you can alter and adjust using the game controller. There are a ton of game systems out there these days and the problem I have with most of the others is that they have a very small game catalog compared to the playstation systems, and there are not nearly as many games that can be bought at discount prices(ten dollars or under) on other systems. Lastly the playstation company has been very good about being timely with their product releases, when they say they are going to do something they do and dont leave you hanging for days or months as some of the other comapnies do. All in all I am a loyal playstation customer and they will continue to get my return business in return for my eternal gamer happiness.
