Play Stations are great...so I heard.

But buying used is not too smart. They break after only a short time period...mine was broken when I got it from Ebay...Bad seller.

Buying used is risky..as there are things some people do to convert them to play back up games...like make slide cards.

From what I read the PS2 slim is nice...I bought one brand new today at Walmart and even got an off brand 16 MB memory card for a great price.

Be careful, though, lots of the accessories are for PS3. Like the eyetoy at Walmart.

Buying the used ps2..(before I sent it back to the creepy dopey seller that uh said it must have broke when it was shipped...yeah right...) showed me the difference in dance pads.

so I also bought a new DDR game and a Konami pad.

Buying used stuff is ok, for trials...etc. but the price of PS2 is so low might as well get your own.

I would have bought ps 3 but the dance stuff I like (I think since I never tried it yet) is made for Ps2.

at first I hear wii dance / exercise was lame, so I never bought that for me. Now I hear Konami is doing cool stuff for wii...so you have both arm and feet movement.

I like the silver Ps2 look.

If you want to buy used games the ps2 is good,. though I also hear using scratched games can mess up the console...and cause it to break.

Extended warranty is smart. I did not buy since it only was for one year...

I'll edit once I get the console set up...and play play play.
