The Playstation 2 has many functions to it, you can get it in Jet Black or you can get it in Silver, which looks much better, but it is very rare to find. I have many games for this console and personally I love it overall!

Advantages: lots of good games out, Sleek looking, DVD movie playable - basically good value for money :-)

Disadvantages: Xbox's graphic capabilites are superior - Still waiting for hard drive peripheral for PS2. Also there are only two controller ports, compared to the higher rated Xbox. Also the games are quite costly so go figure!

The verdict: I would say that the Sony Playstation 2 is a high quality games consule with extraordinary gaming power capible of being achieved. Many people tend to dissagree, but I think that the Sony Playstation 2 is the best games console going and other consoles such as the XBOX and Gamecube don't even compare to the quality of this tiny black/silver box of fun.

This is better than the best console ever made. I hope everyone gets the bigger one because it is better than the flat one. This is because it can play scratched cds better than the slim console

I bought a PS2 because my little brothers destroyed my boyfriend's PS2. S, I bought another one. It was used but it works just fine and it was in slightly better condition than the old one. It works great and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I love the fat old PS2. It is better looking than the slim PS2. It also doesn't break as easy as the PS2 slim. Its better to get the Fat PS2. I am a game desigher I know what I am talking about stick with the fat one not the slim.

What happens when your kids completely wear out a Sony Playstation 2 and they are complaining that it doesn't work right? You see what you can find on Ebay. I have to say that there are a lot of choices when it comes to choosing a replacement but ultimately, it is in the 1) Price & 2)Shipping. I have to say that I feel that I got a real good deal with the unit that I won. It fit my budget in a nutshell and the whole transaction went real smooth. I was extremely pleased when it showed up on my doorstep within the week. Now that's fast service!!

This is a great console for the everyday gamer out there, I have had one for a long time and had no problems with it to date. Although Microsoft's Xbox's graphics are better, the PS2 has many, many, more games.

The Playstation 2 or better know as the PS2 comes in a sleek black designs. Also Averrable in Silver which is extremely hard to find and when you do find stores usually inflates the price of the system. A rare find indeed, but make sure you do not pay any extra, it's exactly the same as the black one. The PS2 has a least eight different model, but you couldn't tell by looking on the outside, The only thing that has change about each is the internal? A technology is improve. cheaper part are made and that lower the cost of the system. This console system is true made for every one. Game range from dancing, to sports games, to space to rpg. The PS2 has many functions to it, but it's over all a Game system and DVD player can even play music. It's also backward compatible with PS1 game. (Meaning: It can plays PS1 Game)

1. Xbox's graphic look better sadly, but not that much better.

Summary: The PS2 has a very high quality games console with extraordinary games new and used available. PS2 is the best games console On the market compared to other system like X-BOX and Gamecube.

The Playstation 2 has been a great system for me. I have had this since the day it came out, and I am very pleased with what it has provided for me. While it was the only dominant system out, I believe that it had great graphics and it was an easy system to get used to.

Also, I believe that one of the best things about this system was the hundreds of different games that were available which allowed you to use the system according to your taist of video games.

Now, we have hit a new error in terms of video game systems with the release of the Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, and the Xbox 360. If you are now looking to buy a system to suit you, consider buying one of the new systems. They have better graphics than the great graphics from the Playstatin 2, and are just as easy to use. If there is a budget on your video game purchases, the Playstation 2 should suit you for now.

Keep in mind that on top of buying a very expensive Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, or Xbox 360, the price range on the individual games are outrageous, as opposed to the Playstation 2 where you can find many great games for under $15 on ebay.

These graphics are so intense on this game. You can change perspective and it allows the coolest scaling--al with a simple touch of the remote. It is easy to load and use. There are a lot of cords but my three year old can hook it up with no problems. Sometimes when a real football game is on tv--I say--that looks like Playstation 2!

I bought it because it was at an excellent price, accompanied with games and controllers.When you can get a great bundle,it's twice the fun when you get it.Playstation 2 has the best visuals, and games.My kids are thrilled.

I actually enjoy this system. The system accessories and video games are very inexpensive and easy to obtain. The games have excellent graphics and sound effects. It parallels the excitement that the Play Station 3 elicits. Additionally, the system is very easy to use and is engineered/designed to be functional by even the youngest child. The plug and ready to use accessories complement the exciting action provided by the high energy video games.

This is a very well designed game system. Sony definitly made a system that is better than the PSX graphics wise. The system itself is reliable and starts games up quickly. Its a good system for a fair price. Highly Recommend

It has a huge variety of games for every one - and these are the cheapest games, I got some of mine for $5-$10, and enjoy them very much..
The graphics are not that great, but I truly enjoy it..
You can get the console for 100$ and buy a game every other week without even feeling the financial affect...
For those of you that are just looking to have fun that is probobly the best console.. Buying the Wii or the PS3 is more expensive, and I think it is not necessary. PS2 is nice enough, and a hugh savings...

I love this system, it has a lot of good exclusive games, and I Think this is a great game console, I decided to buy it because it was a good price, as a matter of fact I think it was a bargain, I got it just as it was described and I'm very pleased with the product and the transaction.

My son wanted a playstation and at the time could not buy a new one. The items were packed very carefully and securely. When we found out that one of the games did not work we were immediately contacted and he apologized and then sent 2 more games, without charge for my son to enjoy. It has been a great experience. I hope that all my experiences with E-Bay are as gratifying.

My son had very much wanted a PS2 for his tenth birthday, and he is very happy with it. The unit and 2 games that came with had no problems, as promised. Later found that I could have gotten a PS2 for the same cost at our local game store. The unit cost 99$, but when you add in the shipping (25$, I think)this brought the cost up to what I would have paid at the store. Still, it was fine, and he enjoys it, so no problem.

Price and extra things that the seller gave with the game was reason for me buying. Very satisfied.

This is an excellent game console! One of the best features with the PS2 is that you can play your original playstation games on it! It also includes a DVD player which is also excellent!

Bought it for a few games only...Gran turismo, Dragon Quest, Castlevanias and Star Ocean, RPG Maker 2: other than that, same games as any other platform.
