Not only does it have great sound, and wonderfully sharp video, but it is built like a tank. No cheesy plastic case here. This unit is solid metal with a great metallic color finish.

This unit sounds better than the Ipods I have listened to, even with the simple stock earbuds which are included with the unit. The only problem I had with it was that the earbuds kept falling out of my over-sized ears. This was solved by simply getting a pair of inexpensive clip on earbuds.

All in all I highly recommend this 5 star Walkman.

Good MP3 player. Easy to manage music and playlists. Really like the fact that you just hook it up to a computer and immediately start dragging and dropping music instantly. No loading of cumbersome software. Good sound as well.

I just won this item but this is the 2nd one for me. I lost the last one. I have an Ipod touch and it does not compare to my little Sony as far as battery life, I listen to this for hours and it still does not need a charge. Very easy to carry and it sounds great. I had to come here to bid on this. Certainly worth it for me..........

Well, I must say I'm impressed with this media player. The sound quality is exceptionally good, even though the player lacks noise cancellation. The playback time of the player as claimed by Sony (45 hours), is quite impressive and the player does 40 hours nonstop at ease without any glitches and the video playback of 7-8 hrs approx. The overall appearance, performance and sound quality is too good to be true for such a less amount of price, as compared to other products is the same price range. Well, Sony had pioneered in the Walkman series since start, and I must say they will always lead in this arena. This is one of the best buys you will ever get.

I bought this sony mp3 player and with out reading the manual,I Stared loading
music,pictures and videos into it's memory,becuse I find it really easy to use
and besides it's simplicty,what it really impress me was the sharp screen when I was looking at my pictures, I found oustanding quality of colors and the video player excellent as well,And the most important thing what I bouhgt is because I love music,and I'm really glad with the clear sound I heard,That I' bought another one for me,the first one,was for my wife, There are many more nice features that you need to find for your self, and the price is relatively low compare to Other players packed with similar features,at really high prices,I' d like to add that 4gb is more than I need.

I like the Walkman because it is very small and has a lot of versatility. It has an awesome amount of battery life, this is the main reason I settled on this, versus Ipod. I wanted FM and it has enough musical space for my needs. The built in equalizer is a nice feature. I do not like wearing ear buds so I bought a light set of Sony headphones and the sound is unbelieveable. It is easy to load with music, and just is unbelieveable how they can get so much in such a little package. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great player, easy to use, great battery life. Glad I upgraded. I went from 1 GB. Easy to use with explorer, just drag and drop music into folders. Great size. Love it.

It it so much more than expected. I bought this item as a gift. The person was so pleased with it. I never thougth the item would be this nice, has everything on it the picture is great, the music is so clear, it's like your listening to a surround sound

If it's music you want; and, alot of it, this is your machine. The extras are nice but, for me, its the musical reproduction. 4 Gb is the perfect storage for my needs. In fact, I rarely load over 3 gigs. The versatility of this unit is comparable to the highest end products on the market. Oh right, this is a high end product - hard to tell from the price I paid for it on eBay! I bought another for my significant other in the pink motif and she has it chock full of pics of the fruit of our loins and still has all the music she loves. I wanted an MP3 player and went to Wal Mart to look at them. I saw the Sony Walkman and having the cassette one from years back, I decided to get the digital one. The price was $57. I went shopping on eBay and found it for $50 and no tax. I bought it and in a couple of days, I was downloading music to it. I love it. I use it on the transit train to work everyday. I also enjoy the FM radio part of it. I have one station I really like. The experience was great. The seller was wonderful. I especially liked the fast shipping! Thank you.

For those who really need an average quality mp3 with affordable price, I think this SOny will be a good choice. The sound quality is not really bad, but it lacks of bass feature like the SOny A and S series have.

THE MENU IS VERY EASY TO USE INDEED. REMINDS THE MOBILE PHONES(CELL PHONES) OF SONY ERICKSSON.
YOU CAN CREATE FOLDERS FOR EACH TYPE OF MUSIC OR YOU CAN JUST DRAG AND DROP YOUR MUSIC SONGS. FOR THE PICTURES THE SAME.
I DIDNT INSTALLED ANY SOFTWARE AND THE MP3 PLAYER GOT RECOGNISED STRAIGHT AWAY AS AN EXTERNAL SONY HARD DISK(MORE LIKE THE FLASH DRIVES USB). SO EVERYTHING FROM THERE ITS EASY TO DO .
ALSO THE MP3 FEATURES AND FM RADIO WHICH IS VERY PLEASANT FEATURE INDEED.
ALSO THE QUALITY OF THE EARPHONES IS GREAT. BETTER THAN THE NW-202 WHICH I HAVE. MUCH MUCH BETTER :)
AS A CONLUSION I HAVE TO SAY THAT CHARGING IS THROUGH USB AND ITS VERY FAST TOO.

I chose it because I wanted a media player that was inexpensive yet had all the capabilities I needed to play music. It is easy to use and doesn't have too many unnecessary features to confuse. Great value for the money.

This is a very easy to navigate MP3 player. Content transfer is seemless and the quality of the player is very good. Sony usually produces good products and this is definately one of them.
