Sony Handycam Vision CCD-TR716

I originally purchased this video camera for my daughter as a high school graduation present but after playing with it and getting into all of its features I decided that this was a keeper for myself. Although I have one already, this camera has everything I wanted and then some. It's easy to handle, lightweight and just plain cool. No, I'm not a deadbeat dad. I did locate and purchase another Sony camera (through Ebay)for her(who's major is Communications in college)and gave it to her as a gift on graduation day. Quite frankly she was very happy and enamored with her gift which was a slightly older Sony model but for her purposes of making music videos, interviews and presenting herself in front of a camera it is still a great workhorse camera with almost all of the same features mine has. My hats off to the seller of this product. I will take care of this product very well as I have taken care of others I've owned in the past. Anybody care for a 1980 bulky RCA video camera with a Panasonic portable video recorder, all 20lbs of it. AAhhhhhh, back in the day. My, my how things have changed!!!!

Again, buying electronics on ebay usually leaves one with another person's junk that they could not get to work. This camera was billed as fully working with a guarantee. I put my $75.00 into it and have not heard from the seller yet on a resolution. The camera did not work at all, and had lots of screws missing from it. The seller was going on vacation as the item was shipped out to me, so I am sitting frustrated in this week or so time period. I hope it works out OK. I should have heeded my own advice to not even look at electronic items from ebay...
