Sony Handycam HDR-UX10

This cam is exactly what ive been looking for! And i got it at a great price. the still camera shots are a lot better than i thought , good enough that i may sell my nikon d50 which is a 6mp. The sound is great 5.1 surround sound ! the quality in high def is like watching a blue ray movie on your PS3. One thing if you dont have a tv thats in HD 1080 or at least 720 dpi than I wouldnt recommend buying this Camcorder. because you will not enjoy the quality that you have just recorded at its best! The best think I like is the fact you can choose the quality and believe there are many options! You can also dub (record from the memory stick to a mini dvd that is in the camcorder. I do recommend buying a memory card for it at least 8gb. Also having some dvd rw are very handy as well. The least thing i disliked is the fact that you cant plug in a wall charger while recording, I believe this was done on purpose from Sony so that you would have to buy an extended battery. Not cool since we are paying enough money for the camcorder. Well another thing to look at is the HDR-UX20 and the only difference is that it has a 8 gig internal memory. Well hope this helps you when deciding on a new cam.

I love the fact that you can change the memory meaning you can either use a memory stick, or use sony mini dvd's. I also love the fact that there is no blur as far as I know and the quality is fairly well. I have not used the HD mode because it drains too much of the memory and battery, but HQ level is really well and steady.

Well I love the deal i got on it very great price. The reason i bought it was because the others i had checked at Best Buy were to expensive.

Great caemra with solid feature set. Its a great start for beginners and moderate users, however i am having some issues with progressive lines when i try playing on my dvd player...other than that A+
