    I researched a lot of camcorders before deciding on the Sony Handycam SR47. The main reasons for purchasing were, I wanted a camcorder that was easy to use, easy to view movies on TV or computer, small enough to carry around, and I really like that it has hard disc drive. My only "con" would be that the microphone doesn't pick up voices well unless you are pretty close to the subject, especially outdoors. I would definitely buy it again!
