I researched a lot of camcorders before deciding on the Sony Handycam SR47. The main reasons for purchasing were, I wanted a camcorder that was easy to use, easy to view movies on TV or computer, small enough to carry around, and I really like that it has hard disc drive. My only "con" would be that the microphone doesn't pick up voices well unless you are pretty close to the subject, especially outdoors. I would definitely buy it again!

I decided to buy the camera because it was advertised as new and I won the bid for about 80 dollers less than in store. I was going on vacation to Grand Canyon on July 19th purchased on July 1st sent an additional 12 dollars to expedite shipping by pay pal just to be safe had contact with seller 3 or 4 times Camera was never shipped and preetypreetyprincess never answered me again. This was my first bad experience on E bay this seller had 734 sales with 100% positive feedback than she dropped out of E-bay lucky I payed with paypal and got my 320 dollars back.

Excellent product
) It arrived new, boxed in the original box with all the original paperwork. It is working just fine and we are very pleased. The price was about $100 less than at the chain electronics store.
