Sony Ericsson Z525a (Unlocked)

I love my little phone. It's more user friendly than my Nokia or Motorolas that I've owned previously. I can set recurring alarms for any day of the week. I can save passwords and write notes on it (which help my memory). There's a calender. It has much better signal than my Motorola V551s ever had. The clarity is better. It's small and fits into your pant pocket. My motorola bluetooth pieces work well with it. My only problem, is that silly little Push to Talk button. I don't use it, but I sure do hit it a lot. You can set a lock for it; that helps a bit. Other than that, this is the best phone I've ever used. I love it. This phone radically changed my opinion of Sony Ericsson phones. Plus, I can bluetooth my MP3s to my phone and boom, insto ringtones.

This phone was absolutely a great buy. The price was very fair and more than $100 dollars less than Cingular (AT&T ... whoever they are now) sells it for. The seller was very friendly and communicative and the shipment arrived much earlier than expected ... which really helped since I lost my RAZR phone and rely heavily on my cell phone.

I have more toys than I know what to do with on this phone! I work on a State government site and their network does not allow PC access to Instant Messaging. This phone lets me stay in touch with my IM friends while I'm in the office. Plus, this phone is unlocked, so I can use it with service provider.

I'm actually glad I lost the RAZR. My girlfriend always complained of the echo on it when we talked ... which is often. The SE-7525A is definitely a better phone.

Again cannot say enough about the quality and service I I received from jpop0753. I highly recommend anybody looking for a new, unlocked cell phone to check out his listings.

I love everything about this phone....It has everything I need....I was kind of afraid of it because I am used to Nokia Phones and they are so user friendly....I am very Happy with my Erricson Z525a....

I bought this phone for my son for his birthday in 09/06 it is now 01/07. Cingular is a service provider, and we have had nothing but trouble with this phone and that was shortly after getting it. It just does all kinds of crazy things like shuts off for now reason, looses sound, and to get the things to come back you have to turn the phone off. Also he doesn't keep a good signal on this phone at all. Then there are buttons on the side of the phone that get in the way and just by holding the phone you pushes then. This phone doesn't have a exit button you have to you what is called a back button, and if your a young kid there not going to know for sure what the back button is because it doesn't say back. I will say this is a phone you don't want to buy for a young child like I did. I may of gotten unlucky and bought a defective phone because other than the crazy stuff it does it is a nice looking phone and has some neat features. Like you can give you person stored in your phone a different't light flash which I mean when the phone rings or vibrates the keys light up and can give a different type of flash with every caller. You can also give every caller there own ring tone & you can photo I.D everyone if you want you just take their picture, and add it to their info then when they call their picture will show up on the caller I.D. You can also record music, and make you your own ring tones which my son does so you don't have to pay for ring tones because I have my son blocked from being able to download anything onto his phone. This phone also can take some nice pictures with it's camera. Other than the malfunctions of the phone this is a pretty cool phone but it could be a little more compact. I think I spent more than it was worth because of the problems we have had so I can only give this phone a 3 out of a 5 rating.

I love my new phone! I have tried several Cingular phones- 2 razors and 1 Cingular 8125. This one is the best!

My only issue is that the phone does not make a continuous noise when someone has left a message. So I can go several hours without realizing someone called & left a message. I can not say if this is Cingular service or the phone. I used to have Nextel- and I miss that feature from my old phone.

My mom and brother both have these phones- my mom has dropped hers numerous times & it still works great.

I don't even have mine yet, and I am looking forward to getting it! My daughter has owned the Z500, the Z520 and now this phone, and she is sold on it. This phone has just about every conceivable option you would want on a cell phone. This is coming from someone who has had in the last year on Cingular a Motorola V551, V557, V600 and a Nokia 6102i, and on Verizon an E815. I am a true "fan" of Nokia, but want a flip phone. The 6102i is a great phone, and the reception is great, but very little memory, especially if I use the camera (and I like to make my own ring tones). The Motorola's are very, very, very good (except the V600, which is a terrible phone), and have great memory, but reception is poor. If you want a great CELL phone, this is the one!

I first bought this cell phone almost two years ago and love it. I was very happy with the features and never had problems with it. One day last month I flipped it open to use it and the screen was blank (white). I looked on the AT & T website and saw that there were several problems reported with this phone with the screen going white. My plan isn't up yet and I didn't want to pay full price for a new phone so I looked on eBay and found the same model at a good price. I bought it in hopes that it lasts me until my contract is up. So far it's working great.

I purchased a sony cell phone from a very nice and helpful Ebay seller. I have listed them in my favorites seller icon and will be doing business with tht seller again. I have had very poor experiences with other sellers and have listed them on a seperate piece od paper located at my home on who I will not buy or even consider looking at their products. But when it comes to the cell phone I purchased, I am very happy.

Its a good phone. If you just want a basic phone with not many extra's on it. It works well. I don't like the "push to talk" button. The button is just too easy to hit. I wish that there was a way to lock out that service.

This phone has lots of useful features like the bluetooth, a hunk of storage, decent camera, and very good sound and reception. The problems with it are durability and a tendancy to lock up like an old computer. A 2 foot drop wiped out the screen on mine, and once a week or so, it'll get into a fight with my bluetooth headset and completely freeze, then it restarts itself a couple minutes later. I've tried it with a different brand of bluetooth and had the same results. The phone's features always seem to work good, but it always seems to get confused/locked up/frozen when trying to make calls. Isn't that the primary function of a phone? Seems not these days... By the way, I've had two of these models, exact same issues with both, one resulting in a frustrated slam on a table that ended the life of the first one.

I am happy with the phone I ordered and I am happy with the promptness of the delivery. I am very satisfied.

I bought the phone for the mp3 player and camera, but I am already not happy with it and am fixing to buy a new phone from cingular. The pics are not as clear as I hoped they would be and overall the phone is not very user friendly. If I knew then, what I know now I would have never even looked twice at this phone.

I have owned several different cell phones over the years. I came to own one of these after reading several reviews. I am not disappointed, it has everything you need in a small package. Sony provides free software and downloads as well as updates. All you need is a $10 sync cable and you can copy all of your contacts, calender and photographs with ease. They even offer free wallpaper, and other stuff to personalize the phone to meet your needs. I use the PTT function daily and it is crystal clear even when talking to someone out of state. This phone will not disappoint.

i had been looking for this phone and this one was the right price and the right shipping. i can't get the internet to work on it because of my provider, but i still like the phone and all it's features.

I bought this phone for my husband. He like the phone because it is easy to use. The flip phone is easy to find a case for. The speaker phone is a very necessary feature for him. Will definitly buy Sony Ericsson brand again.

Yes, I would. I have found by using this phone for over a year that it has excellent reception and even in places that my other phones in the past has not. There is one courious problem with the phone and this is the reason why I give it a good rating and not excellent. It has a tendency to go blank screen after using it for about a year and some times longer. I have found this to be the problem of the flex cable and an easy fix, with the right tool and little bit of patience.
We love the phone and have considered others but we are sold on the Sony Ericsson Z525a and I believe we will be just fine with it. Hope you like your's too.

For a used phone this phone arrived in like new condition with a fully charged battery. I have not had any problems with this phone since receiving the phone. I previously owned one of these phones and my son dropped it in some water and as a result the phone did not work properly. For a replacement phone this phone is great!
