Like: The phone features cool, blue light-up patterns when ringing. It is a slim phone even though it is a flip. Other nice features are voice dialing, screens both inside the phone and out, and that you can add pictures to profiles...so for example, my husband's pic shows up each time he calls me!
Love: The bluetooth capabilities. I have a bluetooth headset (meaning it is wireless)...so the phone can be in your pocket or purse while you are chatting away, hands- and cord-free! Plus, with a bluetooth dongle for your computer (which I do not have yet), you can download things to your phone!
Dislike: The camera feature is nice, but the picture quality is not great, especially in low/dim light because there is no flash. (Although I have not downloaded pics to my computer yet--I am referring to the phone-screen quality of the pics only.)

Being a employee at Radio Shack for 3 Years, I have quite the knowledge of cell phones. So use my knowledge wisely :)
The Z520a is a great simple phone for anyone who uses their cell phone a little or a lot! The phone is so simple that my review should be fairly easy :)
One of the coolest things about this phone is its customizability (Is that a word? lol). You can find online, and in most malls, faceplates for this phone that easily snap on and off the phone, allowing you to add your own flavor to the phone. The phone can also play MP3 Ringtones, allowing you to have really nice sounding Ringtones. And the other feature is the 'Dancing Lights'. All around the number pad on the phone, is a series of lights that will light up and dance around when a call is incoming. You can actually change the pattern the dance to as well! Its really neat! And you can also turn it off incase you think it drains the battery, but it actually doesnt!
It uses a standard VGA Camera, which doubles as a video recorder! Its not as nice as some of the 1.3-2MP Cameras you see now, but it looks really nice for those 'Casual' camera users. Throw in the AWESOME battery-life that only Sony Ericsson offers, and you have a great phone! You also get the benefits of the latest Bluetooth Features and Infrared Technology with this phone!

Just FYI: Cingular has discontinued this phone, and is now selling the Z525a. The only difference this phone and that one, is the z525a has the latest PushToTalk (PTT) Feature added onto it. Other than that, this phone is awesome, and its the one my wife uses, and she hasnt had one problem with it!
