Sony Ericsson Z300A (Unlocked)

I bought this phone as a gift for my daughter. I wanted something that was not expensive~in case it gets lost or dropped. She loves the phone. It will download ringtones and wallpapers but there are very few game choices. It is great for text messaging and talking. It is lightweight and easy to use. I would recommend this for a first time phone or if you just want something simple and inexpensive.

I have been very satisfied with my Sony phone, for anyone in need of a Phone, not a music player, camera phone, or something that will read you a book before bed, this is great. Very easy to use and not too small or too big. I purchased this phone as an upgrade and was able to take the sim card out of my old one and put it in this one. You have to make sure that the phone is unlocked, otherwise the company will charge you for it or take a a couple of weeks to unlock it for you.

If you want a no frills phone, that can stand up to some punishment, this is your phone.

when I tried to comunicate with this seller, I got first a 2 word answer, then a 3 word answer. I wish they would have spent a little time answering my questions. I took the time to pay them within 30 mins. of winning the bid, they need to be more customer friendly.

Well, my boyfriend used this phone for just over a year. I had played with it, and it was nice, has some personalization stuff you could do. Like, the "skins", and stuff....Although, when I would talk to him and he was using the z300a, there always some weird noises, that would cut him out completely, and everytime it happened, it was only on my end. I know it wasn't the carrier, because we now use different phones, and it doesn't happen anymore.. But, this is a good starter or back-up phone.

Good product. Holds a long charge and easy functions. Comes in soft colors and is small in size and fits in most cases and in your pocket easily.

I could not use this product!!! The company that this phone was from is no longer in buisness and the phone was locked and couldnt be unlocked. I paid extra for a code to unlock it and was told it wouldnt work. The person would not refund my money after I sent the phone back I am out $31.00.I will not buy from this person again he is a real ass!!

Not as fancy as my w300i-but i needed a phone for work WITHOUT a camera(gov't work). Works great! Will have to see about life of the phone, I'm a little rough on them,but so far, so good!

I bought this phone because I had lost my old cell phone, and in lieu of extending my current contract or purchasing one in stores for more than $100, I decided to find a better deal on eBay.
As far as that goes, it was a great buy.
The phone itself leaves much to be desired. I have had several phones in my life, and never has one been so difficult to use. The phone takes a long-winded route to do anything at all. I've accidentally deleted several numbers because of the strange setup for the speed dial. It's hard to call people; the address book in poorly constructed. There's a delay when doing anything at all. When you have a missed call- or even if you're just trying to check your recent calls- you can't find out what time someone called you. It has a different setup from anything I've ever used, and simply doesn't make sense in many ways.
I know that I will get used to this phone, but I would not recommend it to anyone- unless you enjoy hating your phone, being confused, and using more profanity than usual!

This model is just what I was looking for, it is Soo user friendly and I really like the cover changing option. The colors are vivid and navigating is a breeze, as the buttons are perfectly spaced! Having the time display on the front is a Huge benefit & always a good feature 2 look for in a flip phone.

Sony E. phones are Very easy to use and always come loaded with the Best features...I am soon to own another one !

The phone was better than what we were expecting. I was clear to hear other people. There were no surprized with it.

Bought this phone for my 8 yr old daughter. Though it is used, the battery still has great life in it. She is very happy with the phone quality and simple features. So far the phone appears it will hold up to her less than careful life style. My $400 smartphone stopped working so I had to use this phone for few days and now I wished my smartphone would provide the same level of talk quality as this simple little phone. It’s a great little basic phone.

when bidding on this item it state, NEW, NEVER OPENED....At the bottom it states that it doesnt work. How do they know it doesnt work if NEW, NEVER OPENED!
That is like false advertisement..I think it is terrible that they can lie like that and I get the strike. But I refuse to pay for something that doesnt work.

no problems the telephone is working great and so far with no problem it was good price and my dau has not complain about it

This phone does not give good phone service. I have called the service office and they tell me that can not help with the problem. I have taken the phone into the store for someone to upgrade the phone, the time on the phone can not be set. I have to set the time every 15 minutes. the phone is a complete nightmare. I can not call anywhere. I had a sony ericsson phone before and it was great. this phone is the worst.

The Sony Ericsson z300a is a great little phone. I bought it as a replacement to serve out the remaining time on my 2 year contract.

I like that the volume in the earpiece is loud, the reception is pretty good, texting is easy, and it's small - I carry it in my pocket.

As I said, it's basic - no camera, no speakerphone, no voice activation, no software for computer interaction. Other than that, it's fine.

I love the small design and easy use of this phone. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles like the new ones out now. It has just the basic functions older people need and want on a cell phone. Has a volume control for people that need more volume to hear. The price for this phone is low compared to new phones out today. I would recommend it if you don't need a camera phone and you just need a basic compact flip phone to use everyday. All the phones I have owned, this one is the easiest to learn to use. Battery life is great also.

My boyfriend and I each bought these after our current Go Phones decided to quit working. We had bought the bottom of the line cheapest Go Phones that we could find and his lasted a year, and mine lasted almost 3! We were surprized! But back to this phone...
Not too small and not too big, this phone is the perfect size.
Does not have a camera or really spiffy features (it sure ain't an iphone! lol) but it does the job for basic calling, text messaging, and ringtone downloading.
We only used these for 2 and 1/2 weeks, but in that time, we were both very pleased with the reception, style, ease of use, speaker volume, and pretty much everything else about the phone.
We only switched phones because we decided to go with the full Cingular service instead of the pre-paid and wanted MP3 phones since we'd be stuck with them for 2 years.
This is a great buy and absolutely worth the money! You will not be disappointed!

The Sony Ericsson Z300a is an old style phone compared to all the gadgets available these days but it is bombproof. I bought this as a spare and was happy to find one new and available. It shipped immediately and my experience with this vendor was totally satisfactory.

This is a very basic phone, it works well though very reasonable for the money, you can change the face and the phone has a convenient clock on the outside so no need to open it, if you are not interested in all the hype of phone features then this phone is for you, I really like it
