Sony Ericsson W900i Walkman (Unlocked)

I own this phone and it is a great idea for someone who doesnt already own an MP3 player, digital camera, or a phone. when paired up with the bluetooth adapter for a computer it makes things very interesting/helpful, it has 3 modes for a computer remote including "Desktop manager" "media player" and "presenter." it used to be that the memory was expandable to 2gb but if you go to Newegg.com there is a 4gb memory card, which is more than enough for a couple movies and a couple hundred songs. I take this phone with me everywhere and I try to show everyone, and since they dont sell this phone in the US whenever I pull it out and flip it open people are in awe. of course the price is high... but if you dont already own an mp3 player, a nice 2mp+ digital camera, or a quad band Cell Phone, then your actually saving money by buying it all in one bundle.

I really love to use this phone. It's a complete remake of the S700/S710, with Walkman features. Although it lacks 850MHz, it is still good overall, so for all the people going to Asia during the summer break, the 3G is a really nice advantage.

Also, this cool phone packs a nice 2MP camera with auto-focus and macro.

With around 500MB built in memory, you don't have to spend too much extra money for a bigger memory card, but I just bought a 4GB memory stick pro duo that recently came out.

I would say that this is overall an excellent phone, and Sony Ericsson's UI is very easy to use and even I learned without an instruction manual.

If you want to drop the 3G, built-in memory, and swivel phone, I'd really recommend the Sony Ericsson W810i, has all the same features except 3G, built-in memory, and it's a clamshell, but it comes with a 512MB memory card.

I bought it 2 month ago, it work very good~
if you like music or entertainment on you phone, this is the best choice for you.

phone tends to lag/freeze when doing multiple things such as text messaging and listening to music (software related)

drop calls arbitrarily, but very seldomly (network related?)

excellent audio playback, ringtone play back, great picture quality

overall good phone, but wait for newer model to fix the little bugs

Be careful on the frequencies, great and amazing phone, but didnt work on the Dallas, TX Cingular frequency.

i love the w900i. i never really paid for mine. i must be one of the luckiest ppl ever b/c i found this phone in a fast food restaraunt hiddin in one of the seats. i've had this for about a year now and still don't think about getting a new phone. Great video and picture quality b/c of it's 2mpx camera w/ all its features. it's easy for me to transfer files to my iMac b/c of it's blue tooth. right now i'm in the process of getting a new white housing a crystal clear hard plastic cover case. i highly recommend this phone for music lovers and those who like to take pictures at outings w/ friends or anytime use. it's also user friendly. all functions on the phone are fairly simple to understand. i give this phone a 10/10 only b/c i don't see anything wrong w/ it.

I've been searching for this phone for almost two (2) years. And the closest I've come to buying it is on ebay. Neither seller I've tried to purchase from has had the phone in stock. I even took the initiative to start asking before buying it, and still after 2-3 days and my purchase doesn't show up, the apologetic email comes. It's pitiful to think that everyone whose trying to sell this phone never has it..and don't tell you until after you've bought it. I just hope that ebay ensures that I receive all my credit refunds!!!AJ

it`s a cellphone model that looks cool..and it`s mp3 and cellphone 2 in 1..this model goes 3G..that`s the reason that I love it..
