Sony Ericsson W600i Walkman (AT&T)

I love that I finally found a phone that has everything I want and nothing I don't. I love that it swivels open, it's so different, and it facinates me. Sony Ericsson is a really good company and so I knew I would be getting a good product. Most phones have a bar system for battery levels, but this one has a percentage system, with color coding for the levels. This phone is really user friendly, and is great for people who don't want to worry about dialing people randomly, with a lock switch on the side as a safe option, there is no certain key combination to get it unlocked. The screen saver starts in about 5 seconds, so it doesn't use very much battery. I love the radio and MP3 player. You can also use the MP3s you can transfer from your computer as ringtones. It saves so much money since ringtones are more expensive than the whole song! It has a full digital/video camera with zoom, light, and a great screen! I haven't even covered half of the great things about this phone, but overall it was the greatest decision for a phone I have ever made! I love it!

I bought two of these phones. One is a 550i but really the same thing,just different themes. I bought one because of the mp3 player and radio built in. It came with a cd fur you can download the software if needed from the sony web site for transferring your music from the computer to phone or transferring pictures youve taken with the phone to your computer.. the camera on the phone has many options that would amaze you. Even takin pictures in black n white or solarize, etc... It has so many other features as well which im still discovering. The radio picks up great. My phone came with earbuds which you do not have to use except for it also serves as an antenna. it has two speakers for listening without buds.You can make your own music and take a picture and cartoonize it as well as making videos and adding music. I love that it swivels instead of flips. I dont like that it amplifies sound so bad that it pick every minor background noise.(every) It has alot of memory but it would be even better if it could hold a memory card. My friend loved my phone so much I ordered him one but a 600i.(same phone) This is a great phone. I asked my friend what he liked about his phone that I bought him. I asked him what options he liked and he said "everything". Great buy!

I love this phone. It is simple and stylish. With this phone I get a great signal even when noone else does. Has wonderful speakers that belt out your favorite ringtones crystal clear thanks to the fact that it is also an mp3 player. It is very easy to download your songs right off your computer with the usb cable that comes with the phone.The swival style is far more sturdier than the classic flip phone which tends to loosen and eventually break. The battery life is unbelievably long. It has a fantastic 1.3 mega pixel camera that takes really good pictures and video. It also has FM radio which comes in quite clear in most areas. You can personalize all your settings and menus etc to make this phone exactly how you want it. I use it for an alarm clock every morning too because it is alot louder than my regular alarm. I have actually bought this phone twice because it has been so great and I was devestated when I dropped my last one in the river durring a boating trip. Oh, I almost forgot the coolest thing, the phone has a built in flash light! The phone does not have any negatives that I can think of.

I got mine used but in good condition; the phone is very good, it delivers what it promised. The sound is excellent, the radio, walkman, and other stuff. The no so good is the quality of the pictures with the camera, the battery duration and it's a little bulky. I like it very much/solid phone.

I love this phone!!! My friends are all jealous!! It works great, sounds great and looks great!!! Just the phone I was looking for. My car charger is the only thing that did not work, but I just bought one and still have no complaints!! My 45 year old thinks it is wonderful that it plays music. She listens to her favorite Carrie Underwood song.
My friend has one and I got to see it in person, that did the trick!!

First off i want to thank ebay for giving me the chance to write this review.
This phone is a marvel in it self i have reacently found out that the phone company i use no longer sells this phone (Dont be discuraged). The reason is that the offers so many featurs that are free built right in features that they try and charge you for ie ring tones, voice messaging (similar the two-waying). I want get into all of the options this phone has but to be honest i truly dont see or know of a down side to this phone. Heck if that wasnt enough to convince you my wife has the same phone. So i close by adding that they still offer the brand but they were silck and came out with a downgraded version of this phone the W300i but the funny thig is it is the newer of the two. By the way if you are fortunate enough to be able to afford these series phone pick up the new w900i Its like a i-pod meets a camcorder with 5mega pixals.

Pro: Great Battery Life, Speaker loud and clear, rich features, quality camera for a phone,
Con: Phone is a little over weighted, swiwel can only go one way to close it, heavy background noise from background using headphone. No memory expension.

I got this phone from cingular, im very impressed with the phone's features, it covers all the way from music playing to a bright flashlight. Although this phone's MP3 sound quality is not as good as ipod, you can use the speaker instead which are very loud. It doesn't have a memory card slot, comes with 256mb memory.. it was enough for me because I didn't load any songs besides a couple for ringtone. Bluetooh sync is very easy, bascially drag files in and out. Calandar and phoenbook works well with iCal and Mac's addressbook.

Excellent Battery life. Controls are faily easy and call quality is great.

I could recommend this phone as a rich featured phone, but not as an Mp3 player.

These people are horrible...DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and they owe me a refund but REFUSED to refund me...what kind of service is that??? They cannot do that...all their items suck and they cannot handle you telling them that! Techpro sucks and you should not EVER buy from them..they really deserve to be kicked off of ebay...

I had seen this phone at Cingular stores for a while and really liked it. The swivel design was sleek and new at the time and really dug the loud orange color making it totally different, standing out from other Cingular phones. I did not buy it when I first saw it because I am not one of those people that switches phones every time a new style comes out. Not because I wouldn't like to but because I can't afford to. Anyways, I held out until after almost 3 years, my old cell phone finally bit the dust. (It was also a Sony Ericsson - there's alot to be said about their quality!) When I went to get a new phone, there was some pretty cool stuff out, but this W600i was long gone from stores. No problem, that's what Ebay is for.

Now I finally have what I guess I would say was my dream phone. I got a good deal but the most important thing is I love the phone for all the same reasons - style, design, but also because it is a great little phone. It has cool features - the best being sound. I have various ringtones for certain callers and I always love to hear the music when calls come through, it plays so loud on speaker and the sound quality is wonderful. The screen is the perfect size, it is very easy to use and navigate through because the buttons are not tiny and the keypad makes texting so much easier than the last phone i had. I think as far as regular keypads, it's one of the easiest to manuever (unless it's one of those qwerty things with all the letter keys and symbols).

Anyways, there are only two things I have to say I don't ABSOLUTLEY love on this phone. They are both related to one another so i dont know which should go first ... ONE: that little button that you get onto the internet with, you know the one that links you to the browser? Well it is on the front of the phone so I am always inadvertantly logged into the browser beacause TWO: the lock feature on the phone is not the best. The lock switch is on the side of the phone and it is very sensitive so sometime I lock it and it unlocks itself as it slips into my purse. It can also "unlock" itself if the phone is swiveled slightly open. So if I lock it and have it in my pocket and it swivels- even partially open, it unlocks itself. I dont like this because my last phone you had to like press two different buttons consecutively to unlock the keypad (like menu and * or something like that). So accidently launching the browser was not an issue. Plus, data usage isn't free even if your not technically using it. Once your browser is open, the charges start racking up.

Other than these minor issues, I LOVE THIS PHONE and would totally recommend it!!!

I love the phone but I do not know where the games have gone. I got the phone expecting to have games on it because I know it should have games on it and I found out that it does not have any games at all. The seller could have told me about him deleteing all of the games so I would not have been so shocked to find out that there is none. Overall eveything is amazing and I am glad to have it.

but it did so much and was so sturdy googled and found this seller, was leary

When I loaned my phone to my daughter, and her friends dog ate it I was very upset, b/c I loved my phone. Then I found one here on Ebay and won! Eureka! Then came the wait for it to arrive, which seemed like forever. Then the day my hands shook as I put the key in, and there it was in the box.... My new-used phone w/all the stuff that came w/ it!! Oh happy day. Oh happy day... I could not get my sim card in fast enough turned on and like brand new. Oh I Love Phone!!! w600i is a great phone with lots of features like the walkman and radio.it has
a cool swivel design.The problem is that the screen is a bit too small and the swivel gets wobbly after some time.also droping the phone brings a lot of scratches

I always enjoy this phone. I had one a couple years ago, but upgraded since then. I've had the Sony W580i and a couple of LGs, most recently the VU. However, this phone's always great. It's durable, has really good sound quality with the only down side being its inability to hold more the 256Mb.

Love this phone. My original was washed with my jeans, It still worked but you could barely see the display. I used a Razor for a couple of months, but it just couldn't do anything, so I bought a used one to replace it. This has great computer connection through the USB, sync outlook express, transfer voice, music, pics, any file like a USB flash drive. You ca make any recording voice or music (ie. off a CD) into a ring tone, its free. With the infer-red port you can put it next to another phone with the port and send pics, music, contacts, files, etc. with the push of a button. Without opening the phone I can scroll through my contacts and call them. Phone reception is great, but you pay for the high powered receiver with shorter battery life.

I bought this one to replace my old one. I like this style of phone. The only slightly bad thing is that this phone doesn't seem to hold a charge very well.

This phone in order to add music to it requires a disc2phone software and if you don't get it with your phone, you will not be able to hear/play your music depending on the format... HOWEVER you can download the software off the company webpage. You have to be careful and remember to lock your phone when placing it in your pocket or purse... You may find yourself on the web and surfing.......
I like it though.....the sound quality is amazing and is very user friendly!

you can download any cd on this phone and set it as a ring tone. so no paying for ring tones like those other phones. if you love music then this is the phone to have.so if anyone tells you anything bad about this phone there full of sh** . lol
