I love this phone. The buttons are big so its easy to navigate. 3G is an added bonus second only to the awesome battery life. This is by far the best phone T-mobile offers in its class. The "Fun" menu is very PS3-like. Great expansion capacity for tunes and pictures. I can't say enough about how cool the 3G is. Internet is smooth. Display is bright and very vibrant. The phone menus and everything is smooth and fast. Must have one heck of a processor in there cuz its quick. Fancie features for the working class making 3G really affordable. Sony has really made a Good solid phone. I can't wait to see the next Sony Ericsson released for T-mobile. Great Quality unbeatable features for the price... I LOVE THIS PHONE!!!! What can I say... It's a SONY!!!

I really like the screen. The T-Mobile 3G internet is fast. And Google Maps really makes this little phone a winner. Highly recommended.

I was impressed by this Sony Ericsson phone. It blows away my old Motorola RAZR, KRZR & RIZR phones. It has a beautiful user interface and plenty of cool functions - just what you's expect from Sony.

My only complaint is the totally lame and propritary charge/headphone/USB connection and the fact that I couldn't use my old MicroSD memory card. It uses the fairly obscure M2 Memory Stick Micro style. Had Sony used 'industry standards' in these areas, the phone would be perfect.

GOOD-
It can be used as a tether modem on t-mobiles $5.99 tzones and it's fast.
Can be unlocked easy and free with a quick google search.
Takes good pictures. Video looks ok played back on phone
Good battery life.
Hackable.
Can take being dropped better then a lot of other phones.
Pretty Loud speaker for music and loud ringtones.

BAD-
The hinge is kinda weak but if treated right will last the life of the phone
Its kind of slow with the T-Mobile firmware and themes
Audio out and the charger plugs to the same plug so no headphones or wired earpeace while charging.

I bought the TM506 Sony Ericsson two weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the 2M-pixel camera and other features available on this inexpensive phone. Thanks!

I decide to buy it because my new blackberry 8900 from T-mobile dos't have
3G speed. So this phone 3G working fine. Only when I driving it
continuously disconnecting. After couple weeks microphone stop
working. I can use it only with my Bluetooth headset. But I mostly
using it as internet modem for my laptop. Very easy connecting.
If not that fast 3G speed, I never would by it as a phone. Nothing
special.

What's nice:
1. flat streamline styling making it attractive and very easy and comfortable to carry in a pocket or purse.
2. screen size... larger than what I'm used to, well lit and very easy to read.
3. excellent sound volume range.
3. lovely color (scarlet).
4. loads of capabilities and options... more than I'll ever use.

What's disappointing:
1. battery seems to drain way too quickly.
I usually go days without using my phone and the infrequent times that I do use it (maybe twice a week)... the battery charge shows about a 15% or more charge loss.
2. sound quality is lacking in clarity. voices sound muffled for both incoming and outgoing conversations.
3. connector for charger is exposed... I would have preferred that it had a protective cover similar to the one that's over the memory card slot.
4. backlight on on display screen cuts out too soon (20 seconds if you don't push a button). and, there's no setting to keep the light on longer... but, then maybe it's a built in way to conserve on a battery that already doesn't hold a good charge.

I got mine free with a 2 year contract extension and rebate; so, I'm not out any money. But, I wouldn't pay full or even half price for this phone. And, I'll definitely be replacing this when my contract expires in 2 years... maybe, sooner if the battery doesn't hold up.

nice phone, easy to use, great reception and clear large picture. slim and fits well in pockets. I liked my old sony so well I replaced it with another newer version, and the radio feature is crystal clear better than my new cars radio.

The phone is light, has big bright inner display (thin outer display just shows basic info and incoming calls), sleek lines and is smaller overall than the Motos I've had. Also love the fact that I can bluetooth images and music to it (and use the latter as ringtones, w00t!)

I really like the phone. I like that it comes in green (my favorite color). It's easy to use, cute and simple.

great quality camera, have more internal memory than other phones that I used. But, too much games could froze the phone sometime.

I decided to buy this phone because it was t-mobile ready,style and what it had to offer.I can do everything I did on my frist t-mobile phone,the only thing that I dont like is that the screen shuts off to soon,but its a good phone.

I bought the TM506 phone for my wife, she loves it, very clear sounds like you are on a land line. She wanted only the basic phone and will not use all the other features so I can just speak to the sound and volume.

Very nice phone. I have had no problems at all. I have found all pros, and really can only find 1 con. Thats price of sony equipment. Memory, etc.

It as a beautiful LCD screen and loaded full of software features. A great mp3 player and gps too. I found it very easy to transfer my prepaid account to this phone. The slim design is perfect for small pockets too.

This phone is full of features. The built in GPS adds emphasis to this item. Ease of access with its powerful interface makes this more than "just" a phone. Sony Ericcson understated this item at release. If you are looking for a smart phone but can't afford one, the TM506 is the way to go!!

This item was a gift for my son. He is not too picky, but did want the phone to have a camera and the capability to text. He is also hard on phones, so another flip seemed a better option.

He is loving this phone. He used the phone for video taping and sent me a text message saying how much he loved that capability. He later showed me the video and it was a really clear and crisp with good color and the audio was good,too.

He turned off the GPS use which seems to help with the battery life (since he is not using it).
So far, he is enjoying the phone and it is exceeding his needs.

Compact styling, camera, ease of use. Many useful features, feels good in the hand, durable keypad, overall great styling and color(amber).

This was a great phone for it's price. I loved it, no problem in figuring it out. I just had a bit of hard time in finding the music control but it was all good. Buy this phone

for being a not touch screen phone, i think this is a good decision for people who like phones they can personality. The phone is very easy to use and have many option...

The only thing i dont like is that it doesnt use micro SD, it use M2

The Phone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. No complaint Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.
