Sony is always keeping it's word when it comes to making hot products. This is a great system. I only wish the screen was 2 to 4 inches larger, but other than that I love it. I plan to buy another one for a dear friend of mine.

) I like the name of the product which indicates dependability and good craftsmanship, and the size. I purchased this for fellow co-workers in Iraq and it is easily stored in small living area, easy to use, and at a good and reasonable price. It is difficult to obtain dependable equipment in this area of the world and I bought it because of the history of the company name and the fact that I had owned the same item earlier.

We decided to buy after extensive research. Haven't found anything we
don't like about this player. Solid and high quality.
Will play pre-recorded commercial dvds and home made dvds, as
well as cd's. The sound quality is amazing through good headphones.
The volume from the players' speakers could be a little louder, but
then why use them when headphones sound so much better. This
review is for the DVP-FX820, not the FX850, which is not available
outside of Japan. The seller accidently had both model numbers in their
listing.
