Product Description The DSR-PDX10 provides high quality acquisition in the DVCAM component digital format, allowing up to forty minutes recording on one tape Mini DVCAM tape or 60 minutes in the DV mode.This highly compact camcorder features three newly developed 1/4.7 inch million pixel CCD's that allow two scanning modes: 480 progressive (for still) or interlaced (for video). These new Megapixel CCD's also provide high quality acquisition with increased resolution and sensitivity at reduced vertical smear, and full resolution true 16: 9 acquisition. Additionally, a USB port is provided for Web Streaming connection to a PC. The DSR-PDX10 also features a new 14 bit A/D and 14 bit Digital Signal Processor (DSP) that allows among others an amazing gray scale detail, and 1152X864 still image capturing. The DSR-PDX10 features a built in DVCAM to MPEG editing capability to the MemoryStick. Up to 85 minutes of MPEG movie, or 608 still pictures can be stored on one 128MB MemoryStick. The built-in electronic zoom lens features Autofocus and SuperSteadyShot with a 12X optical, 48X digital zoom with minimal image degradation, with manual override. A high resolution 246,000 dots TFT color LCD touch panel (for menu operation) is provided. The DSR-PDX10 also features a high resolution B and W viewfinder to make accurate focus shooting a breeze. Battery, 8 MB MemoryStick, wireless remote, battery charger, and software are included for easy plug and play.
