decided to buy it because we bought a new tv and wanted to have surround sound. I like the idea of trying out the wireless system, because i have the same system but its not wireless. i am still learning the electronics part of things. I know computers well but not stereo or tv stuff yet. thanks

The stereo system was a peice of garbage. It had no connecting wires. The reciever was broken the speakers were suppose to be brand new surround sound. They were not new nor were the surround sound.

Excellent sound. I love the ability to listen to my Ipod in surround sound. I have a Sony Bravia TV and the surround sound added to the brilliance of the total package.

Ease to setup and get runningI bought the Sony DAVHDX275 Theater System. I really liked the features it has and all the capabilities are nice. The main concern I have is that the remote control has a lot of buttons and they can be easily confused. The other issue is that this new system is not as intuitive to use as my RCA was. However, the quality seems to be much better. This system was really easy to install and get running which was really nice. It took longer getting all the things out of the box and unwrapped than it did to get system setup. The instructions were very clear and concise.

It got here quickly, and in good condition. Not exactly what I thought was described as the specific product, but a great product nonetheless. I love using it, and I would recommend the seller to anyone.

Defective Purchase
) Purchased new item and as received condition showed defective speaker out-puts. Item return to seller for repair with detais of test process and defectes. Seller returned unit with defectets as disclose by as received condition. Unit will be taken to Sony repair facility for a complete report.

liked the idea of wireless speakers
did not like the fact that I was not told that you will need another piece of equipment to make them work. With out it you had to use wire. I decided to buy because I wanted a good surround system and Sony is a good brand.

Excellent Sound! Came with extra speaker wire that we just ran under the house and up the wall to get the best sound experience all around. Well worth every penny. Had other system that just died after 20 days, and looked forever for a replacement, this was the best deal and quality we found for the money we were willing to spend.
