Sony Cyber-shot DSC-F505V 3.3 Megapixel

Pros: Carl Zeiss Lens, portability, versatility, great creative options!
Cons: NOT the highest resolution, but megapixels are highly overrated!
The Bottom Line: This is a great camera, and it travels everywhere I go. It's Sony technology through a Zeiss lens... Simply fantastic!

I used this camera on several vacations and it performed flawlessly. The ability to rotate the lens is really great.

for a 3 megapixel the resolution is awesome, macro is unbeleiveable.
only drawback is only the use of memory stick as a media, card size
is limited other than that great quality little cash

This particular model works so well with add-on macro and telephoto lens. It takes such wonderful pictures.

I had to let everyone know that this seller bent over backwards to provide me the item I wanted. It was getting close to Christmas and I wanted to buy a camera. this camera is so awesome. the picture quality is unremarkable. i have already enjoyed the camera in the short time that i have had it more than any other that i have!!

I love the camera - its very easy to use and takes great pictures. The only drawback is that my computer (Vista) system is compatible and I need to take the memory stick to the store to have my pictures developed - which is the reason why I bought the camera in the first place to save money on developing pictures.

THE UNIT DOES NOT WORK NOR DOES EVEN TURN ON, i AM STUCK WITH THEE UNIT. IT IS AN EXPENSIVE PAPER WEIGHT, I WAS TOLD TO CHARGE THE BATTERY, BUT STILL DOES NOT WORK. I HAVE LEARNT A LESSON ABOUT BUYING ON EBAY.

good: this camera takes excellent wide angle shots
bad: batteries do not last long. some cameras have had faulty image processors.

I bought this camera because the first one I bought had a faulty image processor that disabled the camera.

I have been collecting Sony's Mavica series, both FDs and CDs. This is the first time I purchased the CyberShot series. The camera is a lot smaller, with similar functions. The picture quality is same with the same easiness of taking photos. With Sony's memory stick, it is a lot smaller and easier to transport it. Initially it could upload pictures to my computer (XP Pro), but lately the computer cannot recognize it.
Over all, it is a good starter camera, and the quality is consistent with Sony. I would not repair the camera with Sony's own repair services after what I read online. But for the price of $80-90.00 I think it is a better buy than what is available online.
One more thing, the CybreShot F505V is a much smaller camera, about 50% less in weight and size, do be aware of this fact before purchase.

It was a great bargain. Even though the batteries were no good the seller did offer to refund the money for the purchase. Would I deal with this seller again? Absolutely, this seller is fair and takes responsibility for products and works to satisfy customers.
