400-disc changer suits me well
I had a 300 and a 400 changer and simply ran out of room, so bought another 400 changer. After a year, I've not had a second's problem with any of them, despite some of the reviews I had read. One remote can handle any of them by just switching the control on the top of the remote once you have set each machine as 1,2, or 3, which, unfortunately, takes a little close reading in the documentation.
Also unfortunately, you cannot well control them with Sony's advertised master-slave relationship, as it will not handle all the CD's (stupid). I solved that by just getting audio-jack Y-connectors and linking all three into the same input on my amp. This will actually feed all three inputs at once, mixing three songs, although that is really only a novelty.
Have not used the limited ability to type in titles--just made an Excell spreadsheet. I have used the Program grouping capability, but I think that will be nice--just haven't gotten around to it.
