Sony BRAVIA KDL-40S3000 40 in. HDTV TV

Hard to beleive the amazing price you can purchase this Television today. Although its 720p it by far the best picture out there for ANY television under $1300. 1080p models from Sharp, toshiba and others fail in comparison.

I bought the new TV three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the picture quality in analog and super impressed with the hd picture. It will pick up hd from air and cable broadcasts without a hd box if you have Comcast! The black level on this Sony is very good and because of that it makes the rest of the colors more real. This TV is packed with a lot of goodies like hdmi for blu-ray/dvd, pc, digital optical out for home theater and can get a Bravia internet video link to watch a whole new world of music/videos and other things down the road with your existing internet. I hooked an 8 year old DVD player to the TV and look wonderful!! If there is one thing that we don’t care for to much is the new menu system. It is easy to use for most people but older people may not understand it. Overall, for a 720p set I'd recommend the TV if you're on a budget for a very good TV.

Had been looking for a good deal on a HDTV for some time and preferred the Sony. Found an eBay price considerablylower than local BestBuy and purchased.

I am extremely pleased with the performance and quality of this HDTV.

ok but the paper trail was a little slow. the price was less the the local target store. I had to wait to get my TV 10n days vs the same day, but the savings was worth it
