This box set contains all 26 episodes of the classic ABC saturday morning hit "Sonic the Hedgehog". In this series, Doctor Robotnik has taken over most of the planet of Mobius, leaving only Sonic, Princess Sally, and their friends (the Freedom Fighters) standing in Robotnik's way of complete world conquest. Throughout their campaign to defeat Robotnik and restore order to the world, they must also risk their lives to save King Acorn from the crystal dimension (The Void).

As one of the best cartoons ever made, this is a must-buy for any animation enthusiast, or Sonic the Hedgehog fan. Great Voice-acting from industry giants such as Charley Adler, Tim Curry, Jim Cummings, Rob Paulsen, William Windom, Kath Soucie, and Christine Cavanaugh perfectly fit the roles of the individual characters, while the animation and soundtrack (from DiC), are top-notch. The storywriting (from Ben Hurst, Len Janson, Pat Alliee) also adds to the realism of the series.

This one I bought first and also came pretty quick. I also gotta be honest with you. I got this one in a fit of a crush on Sally Acorn I like Her flirty voice and strong will and dispite her being an antromorphic squirrel/chipmunk. I fantisised about her in secret when I drew pictures with her. I drew myself in as some kind of manimal. Probably a brown haired hedgehog with pants. Great for Sonic Fans and SonAlly fans too.

I purchased this set for my little cousin who has a Sonic fetish right now. While it's not something I'd want for myself to watch all the time it's definately something I'd recommend to Sonic fans.

I bought this for my brother as a Christmas present. This series is a great memory from my childhood. It has lovable characters, great story lines, and a seriousness to it that is good, yet has some entertaining humor. Plus, you can check these characters out in the current Sonic the Hedgehog comic!

Every episode is in the same high quality it was when it originally aired, SHOUT factory really did a fine job with this one!
This series shows a "darker" side of the Sonic universe as many fans put it, and is perhaps a more "serious" cartoon than "The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog." However, this still makes it a very funny cartoon at times (Antoine will have some very funny moments if you pay attention).
A MUST buy if you grew up watching the show, are a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog, or are a fan of any type of action/adventure with some comedy cartoon.

My 5 yr old son recently became a Sonic the Hedgehog or Sonic X (as he is now called)fan. I bought this 4-disc DVD set as his first introduction to the cartoon series. These were the cartoons shown on Saturday Mornings. Brings back Great memories of a different cartoon era! This set is a Must Have for any Sonic fan! This set comes with not only 4 discs, but it includes a bunch of extra material. The case has concept art on the inside of it, which is so freakin cool.

Since those many years long ago when I used to get up at five in the morning(here in Canada)to watch this show I have loved it. Me being a old skool Sonic fan since 1992, I have been searching all over for the complete SAT.am series, that seemed all but lost. Thankfully not only did I find it, it also is a great set with little additional surprises as well!. For me it brings back great nostalgic memories of a childhood that I can now relive all over again! :3

This was purchased for my 6 year old grandson and it promoted me to Super Grandma status- it is his very favorite series, having seen some reruns on commercial TV... He was estatic at opening the gift!!!

I first started to love Sonic the Hedgehog when he made his first apperance in the Video game world. Then I spot this show on the Saturday morning lineup when I was 7 years old and it never bored me at all! this show has such a great storyline as well as creative and different characters. My favorites were Princess Sally and Sonic. I bought this DVD boxset because I wanted to remember this great show and it has interesting bonuses too.

If your a die hard sonic fan, or your a young sonic fan that's wondering what's this show is all about? I say get it! It's worth every penny.

Growing up as a kid watching Saturday Morning Cartoons, I enjoyed watching Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM. I bought the DVDs to watch them again, seeing how I still love Sonic the Hedgehog.
