Sonic Adventure (Dreamcast, 1999)

This is one of my favorite games of all time. The best sonic game ever.

A dreamcast collection would not be a collection without this game.

The storyline is really deep and you can really get into it. The game is long and really fun to play. The ending FINAL boss chaos battle is one of the most epic boss battles I can remember!

Beat the game twice so there is replay value to it.

Sonic Adventure rocks!! Last great Sonic game to be releases. All others have fallen short of this title, with the exception of Sonic Adventure 2. A must have for any Sonic lover or Dreamcast owner.

One of sega's most enduring icon's returns in one of his best games ever. An absolute classic that will keep you playing for a LONG time. Highly reccomend.

I bought Sonic Adventure because the other copy I bought from eBay was defective and the seller lied. This copy was in wonderful condition, advertised correctly, and played great. I bought this game for nostalgic reasons. I sold my dreamcast a few years ago, bought another one, and had to have this title back. It's a wonderful game.

If you like sonic then you'll love this game. it has the speed of the old games and the graphics hold up even today. The only problem i have with this game is big the cat. why would you want to go fishing on a sonic game? why they created this character puzzles me. but besides that this game is very enjoyable.

For the few of you who were unfortunate enough to own a dreamcast you probably had Sonic adventure. I remembered it as a fun game where you raised baby chaos and ran around actively as Sonic or one of the other characters so after my brothers ruined it I went and bought it here, on ebay. When I went to play it, however, I got bored with it almost instantly. The controls are touchy and weird, the game play itself is lacking, and the characters talk with weird, over moving faces that just seem painful. The chao garden, what I remember most fondly, is annoying and confusing the operate, not offering much in entertainment. I don't know if I grew as a gamer or if I'm just comparing it to it's sequel but, I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone other than a young developing gamers: 14 years of age at the most.

I had this game about 10 years ago when the dreamcast came out, my old copy of the game died on me recently and I really want to play it again. I have the soundtrack to Sonic Adventure on disc. Gotta love this game. Sonic & Sega... It's Thinking....

the only 3d game beside sonic 3d only difference is new characters and this one is alot more detailed and a 3d envionment. If you play the new ones for ps3,xbox, and wii. you will like this one alot more. But if you dont have a dreamcast. you can always buy this game for the nintendo gamecube.
Also sonic adventure 2 is also just as great, if not better for a continuation.

My boyfriend recently got a dreamcast at work and needed some games, sonic is a classic so we got it. He's playing it beside me for the first time right now, he loves it!! He says "cause it's awesome!!"

this game IS THE BEST 3D SONIC GAME you can purchase. I realize it's from 1999 but there simply hasn't been many good Sonic games since then. Even Sonic Adventure 2 cannot compare to this game.

The only reason I must give it 4/5 instead of 5/5 is:
#1. Lack of bosses - Every level should have a different Robotnik creation as a boss BUT you will not find that here.
#2. Camera can be frustrating during certain jumps.
#3. Not enough moments where Sonic's blazing speed can be displayed.

Those issues become minor issues because it's so darn fun. Especially when you can play as Sonic, Tails, Amy, Knuckles, etc. They all have different stories. Great game.

Minor damage to one hinge on the case. Case opens and then separates. Everything is intact, even the promotional deal voucher from the games initial release! Plays perfectly, though. Very worth the money spent.

I bought it for my boyfriend's grand-nephew. He loved it and since you can't find it at store due to an old game systems. But this kid doesn't care if it's an old game systems or not, he loves it.

This is the best game I have ever had. Period. Apart from a few minor flaws, this game is well worth your money.(The Dreamcast version is at least) So go buy it, you won't regret it.

I am a hardcore Nintendo loyalist and I suck at Sonic games, but this one rocks my @$$. This is seriously the ONLY Sonic game that I don't hate, and I LOVE it!
