The Songs of Kris Kristofferson by Kris Kristofferson (CD, Sep-1988, Monument Records)

Have to say, it is a lovely collection of his music. Kris is an American poet that has spoken for many of us of his generation. I have lived and loved so many of these songs, they are old friends - and welcome ghosts of the past. So much has been said about his not being able to sing, but the poet should be able to speak his poems and Kris always made me listen and he still touches me. These songs dig deep in the memory and psyche.

This is a hard to find cd containing some of the best songs that Kris Kristofferson wrote and sang. We are very pleased with it as there is not a song on the cd that we do not like.
