The Song Remains the Same (Blu-ray Disc, 2008)

One more reason why Led Zeppelin is the greatest rock band in history. This movie, and it is a movie, is simply breathtaking. Page's solo on "Heartbreaker" will blow your mind. With "state of the art" 70's video effects like the kaleidoscope in blu-ray it actually looks like it was a good idea :p

Very fast delivery of good product. I get it as the first of many items I bought at one time. Appreciate it.... will be back for sure.

It's a classic and it never looked/sounded better. With lots of extras and a slick package, any true Zepplin fan will love it. Enjoy!!

The movie is one of my favorites. It brought back memories of my younger years.Iloved the picture,it was very clear compared to when I seen it back in the 80s.

Excellent quality , the BEST EVER, the sound it is out of this world, the picture it is extraordinaire, Page, Plant, Jones, and Bonzo never looked and sounded so good .

I like the group Led Zepplin, I liked the music and the stories behind the days of them being young and playing out. some stories told of some of their life styles- to kinda let you know a little personal stuff about them. The bluray disc made a huge difference also. All and all it was a very good show. Especially if your an ol timer and that was the music you grew up on. great

Now that Zeppelin's the Song Remains The Same is available on blu-ray disc, it's a chance to upgrade from the VHS release from years ago. Although the original source video is relatively low quality, the engineers went to work to get the most out of what they had to work with and apply modern techniques to bring it to life. Picture quality and sound are noticeably better. It probably would have been just as good on low res DVD, but if your going to take something old and make it new again....go blu-ray.
Rock fans, both young and old, will get a view of some great concert footage, back stage scenes, and vignettes from each of the band members and one from manager Peter Grant as well.
They don't make bands like this anymore.
