Movie Description A recent graduate of a British university returns home to Hong Kong to attend her sister's wedding. At odds with her sibling and imperious mother, her visit revives memories of her own unhappy childhood. When she later travels with her mother, she realizes that her mother has also had feelings of loss and alienation. Directed with feeling by Hui, and based on her own life.
