Sonartec SS-2.5 Fairway Wood Golf Club

Could be the most solid feeling 3 Wood I've ever hit. Sets up square and is a joy to work shots with.

These Sonartec fairway woods are extremely solid. They produce more of a penetrating ball flight and suit the lower handicap player. If you need to lower your ball flight and want to work the ball, the Sonartec fairway woods
are for you. Medium to high handicappers beware. You will not get the ball up high enough for your liking unless you have a fast swing speed.

Great club for the better player.Very hot off the face. Slower swing speeds may have trouble getting the ball in the air.Forgiving, but mishits will be penalized.Very solid.

Average club. Good ballflight, when you hit it on the screws. If you catch it just a little thin it seems to generate a lot of topspin. Not a good club to hit greens with. Ball just won't hold/not enough backspin. I swing pretty fast and hit the ball a long way, but just not a good fit for my swing. I hit the Mizuno F-50 and liked it a lot more.

Sonartec makes an amazing product--for the under 10 handicap player. If you are not there, save your money and buy something else.

The club has a good face, not closed as usually we found in most of fairway woods available in the market. I have not figured out the best way to hit this club, lost about 10 yards compared to my cleveland titanium 15 degree stiff shaft. It maybe the regular shaft or the weight which is too light, but am still trying to figure out.

The club head is very solid. The shaft is better than
many factory installed shafts. overall, a good buy.

like the quality of the club. can't hit for some reason, maybe the shaft is too weak and the face is a little more closed than I like but the club has a good solid feel when making contact with the golf ball.

I was looking for a fairway wood and/or hybriud that would get me 200 yards plus from tough lies and a low trajectory. I bidded on a 2.5 SS sonartec fairway wood and won the auction for an extraordinary low cost. I tell you, this club is worth ten times over what i paid for the club and another hundred times worth more for the result I achieve on the course. I use this club on 180-220 yards, approaches and even on par 3's where in the northwest you need to play a low trajectory due to wind conditions and the "thick" air. Golfers, I recommend this club for all ability levels.

sonartec is tops with pga pros and with me. the woods set up square to the target and have a medium size body. you can hit these bad boys from anywhere on the course. the ball just pops off the face and can be worked left, right, high or low. sonartec couples the head with a quality fujikura shaft, this makes for a great combo. if you're looking for a fairway wood, do your homework and look to sonartec for what you need. you won't be sorry!!!!!!!!!!! rjr
