Not his dad but doesn't bring shame to the family name
I know that the original "King Kong" is a classic icon of world cinema, but I have to admit that I have always LIKED this film better.
Yes, it was a sequel rushed onto the screens the same year as the original, & yes, the title character is now cute & cuddly rather than savage & scary, but it definitely still has a lot to offer lovers of stop motion fantasy films.
The special effects are as good as in the original, & the script & acting are actually better, giving the audience a chance to care about the characters, especially the heroine who here has a chance to be much more than a simple screamer like poor Fay Wray was.
No extras other than the trailer & subtitles, but the film definitely looks really good here despite its age.
