The Son-In-Law (VHS, 1994)

I became a closet Pauly Shore fan after seeing this movie. Unfortunately nothing he has done since has been quite as funny. This is without a doubt Pauly's best movie. No one does the lovable, silly innocence quite as well as he.

In this movie a small town girl goes off to a big city college and feels completely out of place. Until she meets and gets to know the dorm advisor across the hall, Crawl (played by Pauly), aptly named because "that's how I always get home." Crawl takes her out, dresses her up and helps her create her own identity. She learn that she no longer has to be what everyone else wants, but what she wants.

A great movie with a good message. Fun and mayhem at every turn. A must-see on my list. And make sure you don't make a popcorn or bathroom run during the cow-milking scene!
