Something's Gotta Give (DVD, 2004)

A swinger on the cusp of being a senior citizen with a taste for young women falls in love with an accomplished woman closer to his age. I liked the dialogues, great performances. While the story may not be the most original of all -- serial dater finds the perfect woman as a headstrong woman close to his age but loses her to his dating habits, then realizes he really does care for her after all -- is really a variation of boy-meets girl, loses girl, regains girl: with the exception that this time around, the boy is Jack Nicholson, the girl is Diane Keaton, and neither are under 55.

I love Jack Nickleson,and teaming him with Diane Keaton could not be better. I love this movie and I am 61 yrs.old and this movie shows you are never too late for love ,they do a terrific job and you laugh,cry a little ,and jump for joy when it all works out .I would say,buy a copy.

I loved it! This movie is Romantic and Funny. I like it when she is so up tight with Jack Nicholson because she does not really like him. Then over time she falls for him and does stuff she had not done in a long time. Great actors Jack Nicholson, Diane Keaton, Keanu Reeves and Amanda Peet. It is great definently recomend it (even my husband liked it and he is not a romantic comedy type movie guy).

This movie is a classic! These two are hilarious in this movie together, and also very touching, its a total chick flick.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! It is a timeless classic that I just had to add to my video library...You can not go wrong when you put Diane Keaton, Jack Nicholson, and Keanu Reeves together in one film...it is a hysterical tear-jerking chick flick all the way that even my husband enjoyed...

I've already seen this a few times. It is one of my top favorites! It is a romantic comedy. There are a couple of scenes that you should probably take with a grain of salt. I can't believe some of the neg reviews... The casting is awesome! It is perfect for a gloomy day, it'll cheer you right up! Simply sweet! Jack Nicholson is the cherry on top for me ;))) I highly recommend it!

it is a funny and interesting movie because it shows even senior citizens can find romance and a friend,to share life with and love.

i like jack nicolson and diane keaton. they really meshed good in this movie. I love the setting in the hamptons because i know i will never be able to live there because i'm poor and it allows me to see how others live. lol

Older woman and younger man....and who couldn't like Diane Keaton as their older girlfriend!! Keanu Reeves plays a doctor very smitten with her...a cute twist on the story since Diane's daughter is involved with Jack Nicholson...just the opposite from her mom and the doctor! When Keanu and Diane become a couple..he shows a very romantic side which has eluded her for many years. Then Jack comes into her life..more than she expected..but he hurts her and she moves on. He is very committed at being non-committed. She wants more than just a quick one-week interlude. Their coming together during a storm is very funny indeed...especially her taking his blood pressure! He realizes that he made a huge mistake in letting her go....but can he win her back from Keanu?? It is a very funny and entertaining movie..one that you will enjoy ..over and over!!

I had a very positive experience with this person. The movie was in excellent condition, and it was shipped very fast! I will be willing to deal with person again. :)

THIS WAS A GIFT FOR MY MOM - SHE WANTED TO WATCH IT WITH HER 'GENTLEMAN FRIEND' - THEY BOTH LOVRED IT. GREAT 'COUPLES' MOVIE'.

We had dinner with grandchildren in the restaurant where part of the movie was filmed. I thought it would be a great keepsake for them.

I really did not care for this movie. I have never thought Jack Nicholson was a very good actor anyway. Diane Keaton did a fairly good job. The plot is okay, but not very creative. I especially did not like the sexual scenes. I would not want to watch this one again.

I bought this movie because I saw it and knew I would watch it again and share it with friends and family. I think it is funny and was a real kick to see the goings on of the older love set ... more power to them ..

Excellent movie with excellent actors. Jack Nicholson is fantastic, as always, as an older never-been-married womanizer. Diane Keaton is marvelous as Jack's latest conquest's high strung mother. When a heart attack puts Jack in Diane's home for a few days, sparks fly (bad AND good). Keanu Reeves is great as Jack's doctor. If you like Jack or Diane, you'll LOVE this movie. I believe Jack won an Oscar for his role. A must-have movie for any fan of Jack.

I enjoyed this movie because first off, I love Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton as actors. The music, story, scenery are very fun and relaxing. It will make you smile, laugh and feel good. It is a movie that I will watch again and again.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I could watch it over and over and over again. I love Diane Keaton in this, she is fantastic, as are the rest of them. Keanu Reeves isn't my favorite actor, but he sure looks good so I don't mind! You really feel like you are a part of this movie as you watch it, and the beach scenes are just so beautiful. I'm a writer of a sort and I love watching her write in that huge room! Makes me hope for the same thing some day. Great movie, really a feel good comfy movie for any mood.

I purchased this movie because the price was right. When it was delivered to me it was in perfect condition. It happens to be my all time favorite movie and would recommend it to anyone that needs a good laugh and good feeling after watching a movie. I can't get enough of this movie and neither can my friends. I wish the movie industry would make more movies that leave you feeling happy instead of sad or scared. If you haven't seen it, it is a must.

I decided to buy the DVD because I saw it twice at the theater this summer and I like Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves. I like the mystery twist of the script too.

This movie, though funny and somewhat enjoyable, is simply an awkward movie. The relationships themselves are fustrating and uncomfortable, but adding in a nude scene pushed their attempt for painful entertainment over the edge. I bought this movie as a joke gift for one of the friends I originally saw it with. Hopefully just seeing the cover will cause them to humorously remember the pain of seeing it in theaters.

Normally I can't stand Jack Nicholson, he plays such a good creep I can hardly stand him. BUT...he did so wonderful in this show that by the end of the movie I was loving his performance!

Diane Keaton also gave an outstanding performance and added wit and character to the show.

Overall it is funny and entertaining. The scenery is beautifully filmed and I had to buy the DVD so I could watch it over and over!

This is a very funny movie. Only Jack Nickelson can pull off dating a young girl & wind up with the mother, making it seem soooo normal?. Very funny, the emergancy room seciens are so funny.

I don't think why I decided to buy it is important. I wanted a DVD of that film to watch it when I want to watch it. I think the fact that the seller was great is important. Thanks to him/her. I appreciate the service.
