) This is a lovely story about how someone's (Mr. Hatch's)life was changed simply by knowing that somebody loved him. It's setting is a not so distant past in a lovely neighborhood, with lot's of great characters. The illustrations are wonderful! (Look for the little mouse in every picture!)It is a great childrens book (K-4th grade level) and makes a great adaptation for a school play or assembly.
