I've known the song "A Fine, Fine Day" since I was a kid & loved it, but never heard any other Tony Carey songs. I bought this album and was not disappointed!! It's a great mix of mellow and upbeat songs. I'll definitely be buying more Tony Carey albums!!! He also sang in the band Planet P project. Five Stars!!!

) I LOVE this disk - I lost it LONG ago and looked for it for years at every discontinued bin and second hand store I came to. It was like finding a golden nugget when it finally dawned on me to check for it on EBAY - love it - and I am amazed that they have brought it back in 08'. YEAH for Tony Carey - give it a try

This was one of my favorite albums back in the day. When the vinyl wore out, I bought the cassette. By the time the cassette wore out, cd's were on the market and this was no longer being produced. I searched for years, but to no avail. Then, on a whim, quite some time ago, I did an Ebay search and found the cd....in German. Finally, its been remastered and issued in English on cd! The music is energetic and at times forceful; no pretty little ditties on this one. Definately from the 1980's, but surprisingly, still relevent. Darker undertones of real life regrets, youthful dreams and disappointments, a little bit of love without being cheesy. Also check out his other solo albums and his work with Planet P.

) This is one of my favorite cds. Tony Carey is also one of my favorite singers. Every song on this cd is a really good song. A Fine Fine Day was a big hit back in 1984. A Lonely life is one of Tony's best songs. Eddie Goes Underground, The First Day Of Summer & Reachout are also awesome songs.
