Some Like It Hot (DVD, 2001, Special Edition)

I have been a member of Ebay for quite sometime and have enjoyed it completely......until now. I always find exactly what I am looking for and have NEVER ran into any problems. This DVD was purchased for my wife simply because its her favorite movie and it was rather inexpensive. Before making the purchase, I reviewed the feedback of the seller and was satisfied enough to make the purchase. The feedback wasnt perfect but in the high 90's. After making the purchase and sending payment via a money order, I waited several weeks for the item to arrive. Giving the seller the benefit of the doubt I tried in vein to contact them with no response. Finally after four weeks and numerous attempts to complete this transaction I decided that it was only ten bucks and its time to cut my loses and move on. So I posted negative feedback and went about my way. The VERY NEXT DAY the seller responded to me with negative feedback and a nasty email. So after several years of %100 feedback, this seller kept my money, kept the item I bid on, and ruined my perfect feedback rating. I simply stand here empty handed. So my warning to anyone out there is watch out for negative feedback and dont just discount it hoping your odds are better than anyone else. But as I said before Ebay is still an awesome place and this one transaction will not discourage future purchases. The amount of great things I have had the opportunity to bid on more than out weigh a seller with no class, ethics, or business since. Rock on EBAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

one of the better older movies. I wanted to have a copy to watch anytime I would like to. The acting is the best .

Just a great old classic comedy. It was a gift for a family member who is the same age as the main characters. :)

I was discouraged about watching this film because it was in b&w. John Lemmon and Marilyn Monroe are in this movie and it is not a disappointment!Funny comedy! Another one of Marilyn's greatest movies!

Great Movie with great stars Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemon and Tony Curtis. A fun romp all the way thru with great music to boot.

it was okay, if you a big musical or m.m fan. A chick flick the guy can stand. Hard to follow in a few points during the movie but overall A OK partner

Fun Movie, beautifully filmed in black and white. Billy Wilder was at the top of his game here especially the casting. Look at the faces of all the supporting characters, the gangsters, the cops, the patrons at Mozzarella's "Funeral Home". Marilyn is incandescent and I can't imagine anyone but Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon as the musicians on the lam. The script is loaded with double entendres... "I don't wear a corset... Don't you bulge? Bulge???? Just a fun, classic Hollywood film....

The movie was amazing and hilarious. As soon as I finsihed watching it I knew it was my favorite movie ever. I usually have a bunch but this time it really got me. I could wathc it over and over and still laugh. It was racy and a bit controversial because of the clothes and the whole concept. Men dresses as women, Marilyn Monroe's clothing. It pushed buttons. The best performances by Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon, and of course Marilyn Monroe. Such a sweetheart.

This is an excellent seller. The CD came in its original box and closed with cellophane. We love this movie and try to see it once a year. It never gets stale for us since we personally know one of the main characters and love all of the stars performances.

What a trio--Monroe, Lemmon, and Curtis! Great humor and storyline. One of the classics one should own.

tony ,jack and marilyn made the movie so intertaining...you can why marilyn was so well loved...loved the guys dressed up trying to walk in high heels..great movie

I wish I could find this movie in color. It is one my favorite movies. I Marilyn Monroe movies...and I love Tony Curtis. The movie was in great condition and I didn't have to wait too long for it to arrive. I'm still a little hesitive about using my credit card on line.

My son wasn't familiar with the story, so I was looking for an easy way for him to see it. After we received it, it reminded me just how hilarious Jack Lemmon was in this movie and what a great one Some Like It Hot was...and is! Seller was A++++ Don't let the Chinese writing on the package scare you! It's a legal, manufactured copy in English!

Wonderful movie that I wanted to add to my collection, the seller gave excellent service and it was an A+++ item.

Bought it as a xmas present and was a great price. The prices online were outrageous. I decided to check out eBay and came across this one. I was pleasantly surprised because I got it so quickly and in excellent condition as promised! I am always hesitant to purchase opened DVDs, but this wasn't one I needed to worry about. Thank you!
