only bought it because we live in the town it was filmed and we live in Bamas house. The movie was filmed in our house

) This is one of my all time favorite movies. Even though this movie is 50 years old it still is an excellent story of three "supposedly" social misfits that become fast friends that ends in tragedy. Shirley McLain earned her first academy award nonimation for this film. Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin are at their best in this movie. This movie shows the hipocracy of our society at the time the story takes place. I liked the whole story and this movie was a smash hit when it came out in 1958 and remains a favorite to this day.
