Soldier of Fortune: Payback (Playstation 3, 2007)

Brilliant game for those people who enjoy shooter games like I do.. Companies were a bit slow to release games for the PS3, but they seem to be more than making up for it now!

All around good graphics, and awesome maps. I liked the weapons and the characters portrail in the game. It was hard for me to set the controler down after I started. I bought the game just after I played call of duty 4, and I fell in love with it.

I got the game for my son's birthday and he loved it and beat the game in one day couldn't stop playing it. I would say its a great buy and great game it takes alot to keep my son interests!!

This game is one of the nice first person shooter game , it have good graphices , easy control , the gore is nice in this game , the only disadvantage of this game the life time of the game is short and dont have a powerful story, but in the end the game is great just shoot to kill ..... i recommend to play this game you will enjoy it .....

The has smooth weapon firing, it offers some sweet guns,
good graphics overall its a pretty good game.

Two thumbs up. Soldier of Fortune: Payback is a great game that has plenty of game play. It is one of the better modern war games i've i played. Lots of replay and multiplayer.

This is a game sequel the I played on the computer and the graphics are a lot better , but the storie it's a lot different ,good game anyways.

The graphics look very PS2, but there's lot of gore, you can blow there arms and legs or head off, but not in the sweetspot, like in previous games. The soldiers dont scream like they did in the other games when there shot. No storyline, just a mission breifing, run and shoot in a straight line. Some of the bosses near the end are insanely difficult, that if you dont use exact precision, they will kill you with one shot, be prepared to die over and over. The games is pretty cheap on ebay, I would recommend to buy and sell.

Bought purely for the amusement of the gore, and there is plenty of it. The enemies are blood-sprinklers and their limbs are spring-loaded, and incredibly stupid; if there are 50 barrels they will all group and hide behind the only explosive one. Gun play is functional and smooth, but the story and dialogue makes you wish you were deaf. If you've played other soldier of fortune games, don't expect this one to be and different, and don't expect to be amazed, except at the amount of gore.

another run of the mill ww 2 shooter good game but graphics would be better on the xbox 360! if you own both systems you know what im talking about the xbox 360 blow the ps3 away!

It was a great game as a gift for my nephew and he loved it. The directions on how to play the game were great as well. The graphics on the game were very good, too. I will certainly buy the new one when and if it comes out.

Nothing special. Plays very much like a PS2 game instead of PS3. Missions are fairly easy so far. Graphics and gameplay very basic. The one thing I really like about the game is you can shoot off the enemy's arms, legs, or head. Overall, you get what you pay for with this game- entertaining enough to pass the time but nothing you'd get addicted to. 6 out of 10 rating.

Not a very good game. I wouldn't recommend buying it. It's a waste of money.
After playing Medal of Honor:Airbourne, it's like night and day.
I am going to sell mine, waste of time.
