Solar Striker (Game Boy, 1990)

Solar Striker has the same appeal as any other classic plane shooter. but what makes it a great game is its impressive difficulty and self-explanatory impression. starting off the game you notice that you can move anywhere on the screen, which is a nice add when you rank it up to something like galaga. another plus is the power ups,you start off with one small bullet, then soon grow to rockets. however this game tends to get very hard very fast, and this can turn players off but! it also has a very addicting nature, tempting the player to keep playing until they get the hang of it. if you plan on playing Solar striker i suggest you prepare for it, because you will need good hand eye coordination and great evasion. if you like plane shooter games that rank up to U.N. squadron, Star-fox, galaga, and in a way Space invaders. then this is a game you should pick up. do not take this game's old age lightly it is very difficult and there is no turning down the difficulty. but its that kind of difficult thats is just nostalgia. if you have a Game boy collection and you don't have this game, get it. its a classic that never gets old.

This is a good game and I really enjoyed it when I was younger. I bought it as a replacement for the copy I used to own. One of the best "simple games" I used to know of.

This game is like asteroids on steroids! Fast paced firepower action, by far one of the greatest games of its day. Love it

Solar Striker keeps it simple with solid controls and addictive gameplay. An underrated shooter and a worthy entry in the original Gameboy library.

Its is a cool game and I love it. the controls are simple and it has non-realistic graphics that actuaaly make it look cool. The only problem is it doesnt save. This is a person who likes reviews and I approve this message.
