She may not be just like her sister but Solange is coming into her own and doing it so nicely. She has a voice, and she stays within one range. This CD sounds like it comes from the 1960s. You can buy it for your teenage daughter.

I listened to this once and could not stop. Had to hear it every day for about 6 weeks now. Gets better all the time. It's too hot in here to say anymore! Buy this record, you won't be sorry.

Not really a Solange fan. Just wanted to try her music out but, the cd was in good shape. Do not regreat buying. Thank you for the great deal and the fast shipping.

I love that she is different. Her music is a breathe of fresh air. One of my favorite songs is TONY. Its one of those songs that you just sit back and vibe with it. There is a song for every mood you may encounter.

I really like Solange a lot. I think she is talented and I love her quirky style. I think her album is a good reflection of her. She is honest about her thoughts and feelings on every track! It is so nice to see someone confront their lives the way she does. She doesn't seem to hold back at all. When I first listened to the CD I only liked some of the songs but after listening another time or two I find myself loving most of them! My favorites are

Valentines Day
Cosmic Journey

I hope she has another CD out soon. I would love to see her feature more artists because she seems like she would really bring out the best in other artists. I love this CD!

This CD is phenomenal! By far, Solange Knowles' best work. I can truly say that she has natural talent and is able to hold her own. Now, don't get me wrong, I adore her older sister, who shall in this review remain nameless, but Solange has really proved that she also knows a thing or two about music. I am a huge fan of the "old sound" of r&b/soul music. This CD speaks to me. I was really surprised at her growth and maturity as an artist. I was not a fan of her earlier work, but her courage to step outside of the conformity and create something original and unique, and not only that, but also, music that showcases who she is as an artist. My favorite songs on this albulm are: T.O.N.Y., I Decided, and Sandcastle Disco. If you like easy music to groove to, this is definitely the CD for you!

I fell in love with this album as soon as I heard the song "I Decided." I love Solange. She is truly an original musician of another time. Don't compare her to Beyonce, though! Her lyrics are bluntly honest and untrendy.

Don't buy the album in hopes to find the lyrics in it. Unless you really want the original CD buy it.
