I bought this book for the Ashford online college class it was cheaper than the schools copy. I like the reading in the book and am glad I found it cheaper.

The book was in excellant condition, the price that I paid for it was fabolous. The cheapest book I had found was around $75.00. The great thing was that the book arrived sooner than I had expected! Great job!!

Even though this is the international ed of this text it reads exactly the same as the regular version......brand new just as stated.

The book condition was ok. But the seller Started shipping it too slow. After I sent email to tell him I urgly need it. He promised shipping next day. But the lable on package was a week later.

For a sociology textbook, this Schaefer's 10th edition is pretty current and revelant. Easy read, good examples.

I am a college student that needs this book for class. I was hoping to find a book at a lower cost even if that means using a used book. When I entered the ISBN a picture or graphic image came up with a view of the same book I needed and just like what I say at the campus bookstore. So I expected to receive this very same book. Well I received an international version that actually had a different ISBN. Remember I searched with a different ISBN and I bought and was sent this other thing. Well it turns out to be similar after all but I do not expect to be able to return or sell back this book in order to recoop some of the cost. There was a short mention of it being an international version amonst all the other text but I honestly felt like a victim of deception and shared that concern with the seller who too fails to provide appropriate feedback. What are you gonna do?

I needed this book for a sociology class in college and it was cheaper than the one at school. The only problem i have is that the international version that i bought doesn't have the same cover it is advertising on the internet. Other than that the pages follow exactly the same in the other book, its just the cover is different and you don't have the world map in the front cover that pulls out like a flap.
