  Awesome 80's thrash Speed Metal.

If you are reading this then you know what it is, if you dont, well this is Megadeths 3rd full lenght. While not as good as their second album (Peace Sells) This beats the crap out of anything thats coming out today. I owned this album when I was in my teens almost 20 years ago, and till this day I listen to it. I bought this copy as a gift for a friend that was complaining about a lack of good metal coming out today. My favorite songs are "Mary Jane" and "Set the World Afire". Awesome thrash anthems the way they were meant to be. Fast guitars chugging away at the low E string like if it was going out of style, the production is very Metallic sounding and Daves vocals rule. Overall an awesome piece of Thrash metal that belongs in the collection of all metalheads, before you buy any of the throng of "new" thrash albums, make sure that you first own all the original albums, you know, the ones that the new guys are ripping off. With that said, Raise the horns and bang your heads!!!!!

Absoulutley amazing follow up album to Peace Sells, totally worth having in your Megadeth arsenal. Slamming beats and the song writing combo of Mustaine and Effelson is totally out of control.

Incredible Metal - Way ahead of its time, Fast & Tight

If you call yourself a "metal fan", and you dont like old school MEGADETH, im sorry, but your not a metal fan. Everything that makes metal what it is was the
frankenstien of two particular men: James Hetfeild, and Dave Mustaine...Yes, METALLICA were a HUGE, Relentless monster that basically took over the world, and in their younger years, their was none who hit-harder. BUT, the hellish energy that Dave summoned up to create the bitter, cold, fist-in-mouth, sound
of KILLING IS MY BIZ, PEACE SELLS,& SO FAR-SO GOOD is simply undeniable. The over-all feel of those early recordings was one of WAR. Thats the best way in my opinion to describe the sound of early MEGADETH music. the drumming is more
like machine gun fire, rapid, violent bursts that carry the blistering guitar sound that finally impales you, like a swarm of razor sharp bayonettes... and
finally, when you simply cant duck anymore grenades, you look up and see DAVE MUSTAINE, grinding away at your weak exterior, preaching his sour contempt right into you......your weak soldier, OBEY?!??!....im sure im overstating in the minds of some...but think about it when you listen to this cd...ALOT of raw
emotion in the music of megadeth...best tracks on this cd: HOOK IN MOUTH, 502,
IN MY DARKEST HOUR & INTO THE LUNGS OF HELL.....buy this cd!!!!
