In hiding from her jealous and wicked stepmother, the fair Snow White takes refuge with a band of kind-hearted, hard-working dwarves: Bashful, Sneezy, Sleepy, Happy, Grumpy, Dopey and Doc. Eventually the vain queen finds Snow White and tricks her into eating a poisoned apple. Luckily, a wandering prince comes to her rescue, but can he break the evil queen's spell? Based on the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS was initially thought a crazy idea for a feature film by those at Walt Disney. However, its lush production and charming characters proved otherwise. Standing the test of time since its release in 1937, the film has entranced audiences for decades, teaching them to never be vain and always whistle while they work.

Top Reviews Review created: 02/05/07 by: 7 of 9 people found this review helpful. I'm not a vendictive person but I must say that I was displeased upon reciept of this DVD. The reasons for this was that it looked to me upon initial inspection to be a copy, the case was a soft plastic sleeve, and the photocopy of the cover art was very poor. This was a christmas gift for my best friends (whom i've known over 30 years)daughter and my god-daughter. When I requested express delivery I was ignored even though I was willing to pay the extra charge. Then to top all this off the member is no longer a registered e-bay user. I did leave a neutral feedback, again because I am not a vendictive person. The DVD works but now that I've seen it I can tell it was a copy. Most likely ripped from an original un-encrypted and recoded to be re-recorded. There is not much more I can say except that I will never ever do business with this person ever again. Nor will I ever buy DVD's from e-bay again. This is a reflection on you E-BAY as a company and to have people do things like this to the others in the e-bay community it makes me think of what kind of people I am becoming involved with. I've been a member for about a year and have bought and sold on your site but there are other sites (maybe not as popular as yours but;) that I can buy and sell my items items ( sports cards and memorabilia) on. A good example of one is NAXCOM. I will remain an e-bay user but my patience is thin and will not take any more of these idiots. Review ID: 10000000002878151 Was this review helpful? Report this review Reviews This was obviously an prirated copy as the instructions were in some middle eastern language and you had to press enter to get it in English!!! The seller advertised new and unused but the contents normally found on the left inside jacket were not included and the color of the DVD and jacket were of very poor quality. One other obvious point is that there were no security tapes on this DVD. A sure sign of a counterfeit DVD's. If I had taken time to read all of the reviews I would have picked up on the prirated illegle copy noted by a nuber of other buyers! However, I ASSUMED THAT A SELLER WITH A 97 PLUS POSITIVE WOULD BE ON THE UP AND UP. Shame on me-lesson learned! Read the reviews! I bid on this item in good faith. The good news is that this is the first screwing I have received in 3 years of buying and I am out only $19.00 including S & H. Review ID: 10000000007834224 Was this review helpful? The only saving grace was that I was able to get my money back. I cannot believe people are selling product for companies and do not know exactly what they are selling. This makes for bad practices for sellers. I hope that people are more careful in the future. Review ID: 10000000007754615 Was this review helpful? My son, who is a theatre arts major, needed a particular scene from Snow White for his makeup class. However upon watching the video we realized this was what is called a bootleg copy of the movie. The flaws were very obvious, Some of the characters looked like they had shadows behind them like ghosts and the sound was of poor quality. While the movie is watchable, the quality is not very good and the ghosts and shadows are very distracting. We are hoping one day soon Disney will re-release the film.
